| People blame video games for them killing someone because they need to find an excuse so they won't be killed or stay in prison that long over "mental problems" with video games. |

Apparently, all war games are being rated M because they "teach kids bad things".
I hate soccer moms. *facepalm* |

Then why doesn't Pokemon want us to capture animals in TINY balls (lol) and make them fight to the death?
And same concept with Super Smash Bros. series. |

| My principal from my middle school thinks that. He also says if I play something violent like Conan the Barbarian, he'll be disappointed. The most violent game I own is Team Fortress 2. I'm not allowed to play games like GTA IV, Saints Row, Mafia II, etc. |

Underworld Games(I think that's the name, they made Mortal Kombat) sued by mother due to child being killed by another with a knife. Apparently child thought he was Cyrax, and was preforming a "fatality"(yes, I see the sad, sad joke there) and demanded money for a funeral, and various other things. The response was, "Cyrax doesn't have a knife, how could he use one in a fatality if 1, we didn't program one in, and 2, no knife." The mother lost, I doubt she ever had a child, and she just wanted money.
SHORT VERSION Violent game creator sued by angry mother, game creator wins. |

| I've found that physical sports, such as football and Rugby can easily take out those violent feelings, thoughts and actions. I used to have anger issues when I was young and would hit other people because of something they said or did. My parents easily blamed video games and banned me from playing them during the week and I'm limited to 1 hour on the weekends. I still had anger issues after that. But when I started playing rugby, in about 3rd grade, I had less and less trantrums and could easily release my frustration on the field by tackling someone and getting praised by the coaches for excelent tackling and was happy. I soon started football and I have not had one trantrum for about 3 years. |

No, but I was playing TF2 a while ago and my mom was like "playing those violent games is gonna make you violent son".
I was like "srs? I've played this all summer and I'm still a normal person" |

| And then my dad totally banned me from Half-Life 2: Deathmatch because he was I was playing in a regular deathmatch server, when I usually play in Co-Op/Roleplay. |

| I doubt that video games can make someone violent enough to murder. I believe things like child abuse would make someone become a potential murderer. |

| I now have to resort to playing my games in secret like I used to do. And closing them down every time they walk in. *sigh* |

I'm gonna play Grand Theft Auto!
That game just gave me an idea to go across the street and shoot my neighbor in the face! |

Yes, because playing TF2 for example will make me try to shoot a rocket at my feet to boost myself up. |
