Using the script's property "Source", however it's locked.

Well It is not impossible, but sure complicated. If you want to write a script via another script, that's pretty easy. You would have to check or know the position of every method and word of the script if you want to edit it. Note that a Script's source is locked. |

I cant be done anymore,
the scripts have a 'Source' property. a while ago you could access this property to change the scripts source, but the locked it because of security(?) reasons...
There are some ways arround it though...
by placing a StringValue inside a script and placing this code inside the script:
loadstring( script.StringValue.Value )()
now the StringValue acts like the Source property... |

LinkedSource is a CoreScript object, which, I guess, can only be created by admins or moderators. I may be wrong. |

| I wonder, if linking the "LinkedSource" to the command script, i would be able to edit the script via the other script. Hmm..... |

A script can only edit a script.Source if it's a studio plugin script or run via the command-line or using the execute script... action. (all in studio).
If you want to create code on-line, you'll need to use loadstring (so technically you're not editing a script). |
