(For English-speaking players) Some players on ROBLOX don't speak English, so players who only speak English can use a language translator to see what non-English speaking players are actually saying. So if you wanted to talk to someone who doesn't speak English (let's say, a Spanish person), turn on the language translator, and the Spanish words will automatically translate into English.
It can be a GUI where when someone chats, it will automatically translate into what kind of language you want. You can close it whenever you want.
So, for example, if you talked with a person who only speaks Spanish, and the person says, "¿me pueden ayudar, por favor?", the language translator automatically translates that into, "can you help me, please?"
Another example: if you wanted to talk to a Japanese person when you're Portuguese, the Japanese person says: "あなたはとてもよく似合う," and then it will translate into: "Você está ótima". (means "you look great")
Note: It's just like Google Translate, but you can't click the button to translate; it will automatically translate when someone chats. |

I made this idea originally, but lost it. Never bumped it. Still support, cause I have no proof. Though...I must warn you.
Not every translator is perfect.

| Support. I have some friends on ROBLOX that speak Romanian, and It would be much easier if we could all speak the same language easily. |

| No just no. Translators are sometimes very inacurate and spelled wrong alot. Especially Oriental words. Tranlators can be made in LUA. But you have to learn scripting first. |

Might be a good idea but translators fail...
I am Maltese and if you try translating some Maltese words to English it will completely mess up the sentence and jumbles up all the words. |

Roblox would probably not be able to make this in the near future.
Things like that are expensive and they take time.
If they could bridge google translate to roblox via plugin then it would go alot faster.

Support. However, is there an option to reply back to the person who doesn't speak your language in their language? Can it translate your words into their language?
(i said language a lot, deal with it) |

Only one player in every, say, thousand/ten thousand can't speak english and is not supersafe.
I'm sure it's no hassle to use a translator like Google, and plus it's against the rules not to speak in english, because it's impossible to accurately translate via electronic means, so while it may seem like they're swearing they could be saying Hello, and end up getting unfairly banned and their ban report's in English and they might not understand English.
There's no need for this. |

why dont they just make a automatic translater which everyone can speak their own language and it translates it into yours..
e.g:
I speak english into my chat bar...>>>..... a guy who speaks spanish but cant speak english...>>>>>.... it shows to him as spanish.
i believe this would make it easier for international relations lol.
(i just put my diplomatic hat on :P)

| Nvm. The creator is a idiot. There is no need for translators because theres no point into it and plus roblox is in california. And besides, Ive never ever seen anyone EVER chat a different kind of language because its already translated. |
