-Disclaimer: I Apologize ahead of time if there is any flaming or what not, But I feel I should state this out-
Well. Went into Celeste II today, To find some changes. For the most part, I'm fine with them. But the Harbor Spawn point for the raiders is now an insane cluster of crossfire and BS, It's almost as bad as the 2nd floor of the Tower where the entire team can just camp.
Normally, I'm fine with teamspawns. It's Rat's homebase, they should get some closer spawns. But the positioning, Could not have been any worse. All rats now spawn infront of the bridge, with the raiders having to constantly fight the same defender, at least three kills over before being FF killed. If it wasn't bad enough, Rats still have a chance to spawn BEHIND you, Resulting in the possiblity of No cover, and just a BS spawn point.
Yes, There is a spawn at the 2nd harbor (2nd Boat spawn closer to the Heli-pad), But it is so rare for me to spawn there that I might as well expect Carbines next.
If this ISN'T spawnkilling to you, Then I don't call Carbines spawnkilling weapons.
The Grenades are somewhat of a problem, as they can be used after death. Again, Normally fine with this sort of thing, But I can hardly see the Grenades in the first place due to it's colour inside the actual base, Black on black, I can see alot of suicides, Teamkills, and Chaos ensueing. I don't believe it's not the best for the defenders or attackers. The Menaces take care of the people Wallshooting anyway. |

The double shotguns cause to much lag.
I still think the spawns are fair. We are vunerable in the behind and raiders have spawmkilled us on thr bridge before. |

| Well, When you're in a high numbers situation, With the raiders spawning apart and the Defenders(RAT) spawning together, it's a lose-lose situation for the raiders, as killing a rat means your now limited reinforcements are going to have a rougher time reinforcing, as they will have FFed rats to deal with (The majority of the lower ranks in rat FF kill, It's expect from them now, sadly) |

Well, then TDFall. Let me explain to you the DIFFERENCE.
The Vaktovians spawn IN THE MIDDLE of crossfire, with little cover aside from some small barricades.
Raiders spawn in two places, as you've stated. In a cave IN THE MIDDLE of some hills that requires either the Vaktovian go cover and around, AND There is a tunnel which takes you behind the stone wall that not even a sniper can shoot you down at.
The First spawn (Three of them) The Vaktovians don't spawn there unless they're joining. THAT Spawning area puts you on top of a small mountian/hill with TWO buildings you can use as cover, as well as the choice jumping down OUT of the line of fire.
In Celeste? The best cover you got is two barricades that are quickly made useless to you by the Grenades/Menace. let alone the Chance of RATs spawning behind you and FF killing.
Unless you feel like jumping into the water and falling to your death? |
