I went to public school until the middle of 6th grade.
My education was screwed from the start. |

| I find it strange that after browsing through my Pre-Calculus book, I found nothing completely new. Bigger problems, maybe a different way to do them, but they all seem like I learned them last year. |

I find it strange that after starting geometry everything so far seems entirely self explanatory.
Segment Addition Postulate: let points A, B, and C all be collinear. line AC = line AB + line BC
ZOMG R U FOR REAL DUDE
But then again, it's only the second week of geometry. I wish I was in Algebra 2 :c

@Necro: LINE SEGMENT AC = LINE SEGMENT AB + LINE SEGMENT BC
NOT LINES, LINE SEGMENTS
*gives F* |

I learnt it in grade 5 and long division in grade 5, too. And we only learnt long division because I asked. Apparently, teachers aren't meant to teach us long division any more.
Wasn't that hard because I already knew lua and we weren't really going in too deep.

| Depends where you are. In a lot of Asian countries the Math education is several years ahead of North-American schooling systems. |

| I'm pretty sure you live in Australia because your parents live there and you can't move out yet, not because you can... |

I learned Pre Algebra in 3rd grade, although my sister says it's just _baby_ algebra or not even algebra at all...

"I find it strange that after starting geometry everything so far seems entirely self explanatory."
That's because of proofs. Have fun with those c:
You'll start out with a lot of stuff that seems incredibly obvious, and then you'll move on to some triangle congruency theorems, and some even more interesting theorems that involve triangle congruency, such as how corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent. CPCTC will probably be one of the single most helpful reasons in geometry if you do as many proofs as I did when I had it. |
