I am making a compass(gui) and the objective is to place an arrow on a circle's edge pointing towards the object. So I am ignoring the Y vector seeing as i am converting to 2d.
I need help on figuring out how to do this.
Part1: Vector3.new(0,0,0); --Always 0 because it is the torso :)> Part2: Vector3.new(10,0,10);
p1 = {0,0}; p2 = {Part2.X, Part2.Z};
I need to get the distance of those and put them in a gui which is easy. However, I want the radius of the circle to be 30. So I need to amplify the position by 30 without losing acurate positioniong. I thought about getting a equation for the line containing the points and inputing x as 30. Would that work? If so that is easy... I am sure my answer is obvious and I am just missing it. Anyways, about the line equation, would it work? |
