even if it was in fraction form, you could; oh i don't know, simplify it?

| It's obviously 42 because 42 is simply the answer to everything in the universe. |

the day we learn to divide by zero.
is the day we gain the ability to domesticate water snakes. |

@jeffy if you try to answer a problem that involves dividing by zero, and claim that the answer is 42, then there won't be any universe for your precious little 42 to be the answer to anymore.
don't go messin' around with my universe.

| After ending the universe I will divide 0 by 42 and create another one. |

but then that just equals 0. making your 42. null and void.
but it was already null and void because you destroyed the universe.
game over man game over |

We should take off and nuke this thread from orbit.

Well, we could just say that
lim x--> 0+
n / x --> infinity
and
lim x--> 0-
n/x ---> - infinity
So we can say that your division (I'll call it f(n)), in asymptote form:
f(n) ~ +- infinity |

| But you forget .0000000000000001 nanoseconds after said universe is created and before it once more ends the answer will become 42 making the universe complete. |
