Hi Scripting Helpers.
Im really intrested in scripting.
Im learning some HTML and C++, but Im also fascinated by Lua and would love to learn it.
Though I have a problem.
Learning through reading makes things hard for me, so I thought someone from this section of the forums might help.
I do know some basic stuff of Lua, like the really simple things.
Hopefully someone would be my tutor :D
(Before you write something like, "Go to Dingdong72's tutorial". I've been there, but as I said, reading makes things harder for me) |

Why learn Lua,
if you are learning C++? |

@Darkmist: That question makes no sense.
@piepiechris: Tutors are often unreliable, and I don't suggest learning through one. I suggest using either one of the many guides on the ROBLOX Wiki, or learning from a more reliable source, such as Stickmasterluke's Youtube scripting tutorials, or sdfgw's tutorials (on his profile).
wiki.roblox.com/User:Crazypotato4/Test ^ my scripting guide :D

@Crazy, my guess of what he means is that C++ is used for more programs and useful stuff.

| You all seem to be forgetting you can't use C++ on ROBLOX. Which might just give a hint as to why he wants to learn lua... C++ if veeery different to Lua in most ways its mainly the things that almost all languages have in common that it shares with lua...Buut its so easy to lean a new language when your familiar with another one you understand the terminology better and have a better idea of how it all works... |

| Ooooh yes...You try making a script on the lua demo it can get quite confusing when you want to use a function like wait() but its not there... |

| Yep, I'm pretty much learning the basics from lua.org, after that I'm gonna make some libraries and maybe include wait() in it. Someone had told the source code of it before. |

| I don't think so, people also had found out the Delay() source code too and it uses coroutines too. |
