I have an idea to revolutionize the roblox clan system. An official clan war system. This is how it works:

SEASONS: Each season consists of 10 rounds, and is split up across 3 regions. Each round can have a different number of matches within it, as that is up to the player base. The goal of a season is to have the highest clan worth in the end. This worth is decided by your actions during the clan war. In the end of the season all participants within the top three clans win robux, commemorative items, and large amounts of tickets. The map in which the players fight in changes every season, though maps may be reused if deemed necessary, or the map is enjoyed enough.

REGIONS: There are three regions. Each region is open for 3 hours per day, and is localized to the time of the following areas:

The first region is West Coast U.S.A - Central U.S.A.

The second region is East Coast U.S.A - Western Europe.

The last region is Central Europe - Eastern Europe.

A possible fourth region, though I don't think our eastern population of users is large enough to make use of it, would be India and the rest of Asia.

Clans, if they have a diverse enough array of members, can compete in more than one region should they wish to do so.

ROUNDS: Each round is a three hour window in which a region is open. Two rounds happen per week, open per day on the weekend.

MAPS: Within each season there is a different map. Each map is made up of 20 locations on a grid. Each location is a 750x750 square, and is treated as a seperate place by the map. To avoid the admins having to make 20 unique places every 5 weeks, this responsibility will be up to the players.

By making use of the contest system already enacted, you can create contests to decide the best map and reward the map editors accordingly. Each contest will require the following of the maps:

To go by the selected theme
Have no weapons embedded into the map (this includes vehicles and turrets)
Be only 750x750 big (though it can be as tall as necessary)
Have a protected base for each team.

The top 20 voted by the players will then be reviewed by the admins to make sure it doesn't have anything like scripts giving the players special weapons. If it passes the criteria, then it goes into the official season map.

REGISTERY: It goes first come, first serve for clans fighting in seasons. The first 20 clan officials to sign up for the season get their own randomly selected spot on the map. Please note that it doesn't need to be the clan leader who signs up, any clan official with that designated power in the rank abilities checklist already in use can sign their clan up for war. Each clan who signs up though is required to have at least 24 members, as this makes 3 complete teams.

TEAMS: A single team is made up of 8 people from the same clan. The person who organized that squad is the team leader, and gets to say who can join the team and who can't. By inviting people to join through their icon on the clan roster, they can put together their team. The reason for only allowing 8 people per team is so that large clans won't always win, and rather it is the clan with the most skilled players.

FIGHT FOR CONTROL: Alright! If you have read this far, you now know how people will sign up, how teams work, how the regions work, and how the map is decided! Now it's time for the thing we all love about this, the fighting!

In the beginning of a season each clan is assigned one grid square. The goal is that in the end you have the most squares, and thus win the season. You are only allowed to attack clans directly next to you, and with four teams at a time maximum. Because of this large clans will not be able to attack everyone at once. You can, however, have as many teams as you need defending.

Once you select to attack a clan you can deselect at any time. A two minute countdown starts as soon as you hit that button, and once it hits 0 all team members are notified with the option to join the battle or not. If they choose not at the moment, they can join at any time later by joining through the team roster in their clan page.

At the same time however, the defending clan has all of its teams given the notification that they are under attack. At this time the defending clan must choose a team to defend the said spot, or decide whether to defend it at all. If there is no selected defending team, the attackers have an instant victory and take over the spot without a fight happening. If the defenders do select a team however, when the timer hits 0 the fight is on.

IN THE HEAT OF BATTLE: Okay, now that we know how the attacking and defending works, it's time to fight!

The weapons provided are not decided by the map, but rather by the theme of the season. All fighters are provided with the same weapons. These weapons will be limited to only brick battle weapons, items in the gear catalog, and any season exclusive weapons the admins throw in.

The battle is 10 minutes long, and the goal is to make your team have the highest kills in the end. In the event of a tie, it goes into sudden death overtime (first kill on either side wins). If a player falls to their death, it will count as a kill for the enemy team.

NOW WHAT: If you win the battle, you now own/retain that grid square and your clan lives to fight another day. If you lose however on the defending side, you no longer have that square. If you lose from the attacking side, the square now goes into lockdown and cannot be attacked by anyone for 10 minutes. If you lost on the defending side and that was your clans last square, the season is over for you and you cannot fight any longer, since you have no place to base your fight out of. Don't worry though! Anyone who participated in a battle during the season, winner or loser, wins a consolation prize! The prize is specific to the theme of the season you were in, and usually would be simply a commemorative hat.

I WON: If your clan survived the season with at least one square left, but it wasn't good enough to win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd you get a winner prize, which would be a decent amount of tickets, and a commemorative hat. If you won third though, you win:

The basic level commemorative hat
The 3rd prize hat
A large amount of tickets.
A decent amount of robux
An inexpensive item of gear specific to the theme.

If you won second, you win:

The basic level commemorative hat
The 3rd prize hat
The 2nd prize hat
A significant amount of tickets.
A large amount of robux
An inexpensive item of gear specific to the theme.
An expensive item of gear specific to the theme.

If you won first place, you get:

The basic level commemorative hat
The 3rd prize hat
The 2nd prize hat
The 1st prize hat
A significant amount of robux
A gargantuan amount of tickets.
An inexpensive item of gear specific to the theme.
An expensive item of gear specific to the theme.
A season winner exclusive item of gear specific to the theme.

WHY:

Now you may be asking, "Kisaru, this sure looks hard to script, why do we need this?".
Well the reason why, is because this is an overall enhancement to the content in roblox, promotes building by making the maps open to the players to make, promotes teamwork, makes the clan system much more meaningful, and answers a long forgotten call to action that has been around since before I joined back in 08.

Sorry! Forgot to say that the regions are open for 3 hours per day, TWO DAYS A WEEK.

On weekends. Saturday and Sunday, when most people will have time off.

If it's a group that has many different ranks, it could be something like, Tier 1 ranks(first 3 or 4 ranks) fighting in one region. Tier 2 ranks(anything up to second in command)in another region. And the leader, second in command and elite division, in the 3rd region. There. War already planned out for ya.

(On one not, however, I do think roblox may not appreciate disrupting the economy with a vast amount of money. Still you have a great idea if i were an admin I would go all the way for this.)

PS. This would not be difficult to script that much, just sortta hard to maintain servers

Nah, the reason I want to intergrate the society is so that regardless of rank people can still have a whack at it. Even the lowest rank can organize a team. The reason regions are organized by your location on the planet earth here is so that people won't be staying up to 1:00 AM to fight and instead can fight at a time conventient for them.

Thanks! Keep in mind, it's only going to be about 80 people who win the really big money. That won't disrupt the economy that terribly much.

Nah, the reason I want it to go by kills is because kill counts are already programmed into the game and syncronized with our profiles. It'd only take some repurposing and slight modification of code to equate a higher kill count for a team into a victory.

ehhh ditch most of the prizes and roblox might think bout it :P.. there might be an extra cool prize every so often but the money is somthing roblox won't like :/.

Also there should be an option to support teams/make alliences (mabye backstab them later too XP) anyway the support part is if you don't have a team/your groups too small to make a team so you can still fight and the other part is easy enough to understand, I think roblox players could figure out how to do that on there own :P.

I think they'd give cool prizes to their best fighters. It gives incentives to form clans, and thus purchase BC to do so. As for the alliance part, I hoped you guys would have inferred that.

I don't support war and violence. FEAR, VS, TRA, et cetera have ruined ROBLOX dued to war, and hate.

You guys probably have never read "Power Play" (mature book), but it gives a description on what REAL war is like.

If you want to have your little clan battles in this building game, do it yourself, and set up a system. Everything doesn't have to be Administrator made.

I'm referring to war as a conflict involving two or more forces. Not like a real military war. This is merely a suggestion for a system to run a territory war like game mode. And yes, it does need to be admin made since Players can't reward hats, it'd be extremely difficult for a group of players to run a system like this with no computer aid, it would be extremely unprofitable for said players, and players can't reward gear.

All the admins would have to do, were a system like this made, would be create the system, decide a theme, review the 20 chosen maps, decide the weapons, and decide the reward.

As for the clans ruining roblox, this gives the opportunity to put those clans back in their place. If they can't fight well, suddenly they aren't so intimidating. Also, all clans can only attack with 4 teams at a time. While defensive power may vary from clan to clan, offense is always the same per clan, leveling the playing field.

And for REAL violence, all this is is a change up of the classic brick battle game type, to have more interesting maps and varying weapons. I don't see any problem of that being innapropriate, since such games have been made by the admins since Roblox's creation.

If you look at it that way, you don't need a lot of things. You don't NEED gear, you don't NEED ambient occlusion, you don't NEED body types, you don't NEED hats.

What I'm saying is it would be fun.

As for roblox not supporting the clan wars, if they weren't okay with them why would they still allow them? Why would they not have banned or warned players causing said wars? I think this would tone down the wars, since now the players can't rage about being attacked with superior weapons, or the enemy team cheating with scripting. Now the playing field is even, and the fighting comes down to raw tactics and skill.

No support. Everyone would be doing this, and no one would buy BC, and therfor ROBLOX would go bankrupt. I mean? A large amount of Robux and Tickets, if i read it right? Thats just sad.

This happens every 5 weeks, so it isn't like people just win every weekend. There is only one top clan who wins the really big money per region, so at most 320 people win a large amount of money. From the friends list of Builderman, I can infer that there is a bit more than 18,293,542 registered on Roblox. I'm going to assume about 4,000,000 are alts or no longer play, and round that down to 14,293,542. That means the winning percentile is the top 2% of players in Roblox, and that is being very generous. Also, since admins will most likely allow season themed gear into battle, that encourages robloxians to get robux to purchase gear to get an edge in battle.

More robux needed = BC + Buy Robux.

BC + Buy robux = $$$.

I'd say this will actually make roblox get more money out of the current player base, and will attract more players to the game.

Correction! I mis interpreted my math. That means this actually is the winning .002% of robloxians. Only .002% of the population will win lots of money. If you factor in 2nd and 3rd prize, only .006% win robux at all.

I don't think that will make too great of a difference on BC membership and robux buying.

U haters are all idiots. Of course roblox supports wars, they have war game categories, enemy group feature, and on the survey asked if you would want group vs group games. They support competition, though, not bloodlust.
