You should check the specs of that Video Card.
You can usually find a better one from nVidia for around the same price.
You kept with AMD, good job! However Hex Core is overkill; but its your money, so whatever.
You didnt go overboard on RAM.
Nice so far. |

@ KuGath
If I'm going to use an AMD processor, I might as well get an AMD video card with it.
And yeah, I might tone down to X4, or a lower version of X6 to squeeze the price a tiny bit. |

Thats true. Yet trust me, check that card before you buy it.
X4 would be fine.
By the way, this is Resor.
Dont remember if you recall me from a similar Thread.
I got a name change. |

Name change? Nice!
Oh, and I'm looking at reviews of the 6870 right now, and all of them are giving it a thumbs up.
And yes, X4 or a lower version of X6. :) |

Makes me think of DeadSpace.
How much are you spending?
Which site are you getting it off of?
Some good ones I know of are: CyberPowerPC, ibuypower, and computerlx. |

CyberPowerPC.
The config with X6 1100T was only $821.
Since I'm lowering the CPU, I might amp up the video card. |

Nice.
You should start with a lower priced model and beef it up.
Just check each card. Sometimes you will end up paying more for the same, or BARELY better performance. |

I can use the 6850, 6870, or one from 6900+.
Since the 6850 and 6870 both came out near the same date, I might as well not get the 6850. |

You mess with the interior of your PC. Then research online.
Its not hard. |
