"Texas has nuclear subs too, I'm sure."
even if they did
when they launch it
it'd probably come straight back down uon them because their calculation would be way of- oh wait there wouldn't be any in the first place |

If Texas seceded, they'd have to surrender the weapons as the property of the United States government.

Oh yes, just like the US would have to obey Texas' rights, correct? /Sarcasm. |

The standard nuclear sub has 16 missiles with 27 (Or some number in the 20's) nuclear warheads in each missile. |

I didn't say anything about not respecting their rights. I didn't say they couldn't secede. I said they'd have to give the weapons and all other United States government property back to the United States. |

The only reason I brought up the subs in the first place is because the other guy said that the US would beat down Texas down.
Which would interfere with Texas' right to secede Peacefully. |

Alright. But I was saying that under any situation that they'd have to give the warheads back. |

@Meisida
Texas wouldn't have the weapons the US had, cause it's all US property.

WW2 didnt have nukes but do you know how much a nuclear bomb is worth?
I mean come on, 16 missles? Thats retarded, if someone else bombed that all of texas would be contaiminated with pure raditation. Not even the U.S. goverment is stupid enough to put that many bombs in one place.
Plus, you may have the missles, but you cant activate them because the p.a.s.s.w.o.r.d to do so is most likely in the white house or in the hoover dam. |

The three atom bombs were nuclear weapons.
The US has so many more than 16.
The ones on the sub probably don't need the same type of activation. |

I'm pretty sure they wouldnt keep the codes right next to the warheads.
Its like having a house and keeping the key under the carpet. May be a good hiding place as it would be the last place robbers would look in, but it's a risky situation as its pretty much just right there you know? |

Because under water is a great place to hide nuclear weapons isnt it? You know, with all that definitely not dangerous pressure from the water, and the fact that you are carrying 16 missles in one sub. |

If the pressure was enough to explode the nukes, they wouldn't have subs in the first place.
And you can launch missiles from subs. |

A whole missle from a sub?
Its probably more like a ship guarded by subs if its in waters. |

There is a reason why they have nuclear subs in the first place.
Though I do prefer orbital nukes. |

Too much money.

Yes, because it obviously takes SO much money to make nuclear missiles.
Because, y'know, making three atom bombs near the end of WORLD WAR TWO wasn't a lot. |
