Spam has ruined so many comment sections, wouldn't you like it gone? How many times have you been buying a new gear or hat and had to scroll through pages and pages of spam to find one relevent comment? This can be stopped through a few easy steps:
1. A comment is posted on a hat and a robloxian recognises it as spam. They click a button marked spam underneath the comment.
2. The comment is temporarily removed, and the spammer is sent a message. The message shows their comment, and has two buttons. One button marked SPAM and the other marked NOT SPAM.
3. The spammer can choose to say his comment was spam by clicking the first button and it will be removed. It will record a minor spamming offence on their profile, and no action will be taken unless multiple offences are recorded.
4. If the spammer markes NOT SPAM, then his comment will be looked at by a roblox moderator. If the moderator marks it as spam, then action will be taken, like removing their right to post comments on the forum. If the moderator marks it as NOT SPAM, then the user who reported it will get a false reporting offence. Like spamming offences, if too many are recorded the user may lose the ability to report spam.
These may seem complicated, but it means that mods only have to screen a few comments and you can report spam quickly and effectivly. This system will not only punish repeat spammers, it will stop any more from being created.
Phew. ecoeco out =D
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TL;DR When someone reports a comment, the spammer can chose to take it down and not get punished unless they do it too many times. If they say it isn't spam it is taken to a mod. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: This was posted before, but too many peoople were tl;dr-ing and asking too many noobish questions. So here's your tl;dr section! |

| It'd be good if ROBLOX had a little warning that spam is fake and can get you banned beside the comment box ._. |

| Abuseable, people would mark comments on the hat as spam because they don't like your comment. |

How about we just stop caring about it altogether? With this idea, I doubt anything will change. Once you spam once, you figure out that it doesn't work. Everyone has spammed that message at one point, so this would be unnecessarily harsh on newbies who think they found a way to earn quick money.
Plus, there are too few ROBLOXians willing to go on a stop spam campaign. They might report one page of comments but then decide they'd rather be doing something else.
Also, it just plain takes too long for an effect to occur. The spammer would be sent a message, asking to confirm if it was spam or if it wasn't. What person would say, ''Yes, I was spamming''? No one. So then a moderator has to check it, which could take awhile, and sometimes it might be inaccurate.
And then one comment would be removed, out of the trillions of comments on the millions of commentaries on ROBLOX. |

| I like the idea, but what if someone created a bot network that randomly reported posts? Then moderators would have to be working like CRAZY. Also, what would happen if someone reported all your comments/posts? What if you are on vacation? Would you get banned? (Not that I'm trying to start a flamewar... I'm just wondering) |

| Until you respond to the message, you will lose the right to enter games or forum post. If you are on vacation, this won't matter until you return, and the comment will be removed until you respond. And if you say a comment is'nt spam and the mods do mark it as spam, you would have a MUCH harsher consequence for lying. |

| In my opinion, I think this is not the best way, on Roblox, there is too much spam each few seconds so I would suggest (Telamon also thought about this in a forum), that comments cost 1 ticket each. |
