June 6th, 1944, 630 hours ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Omaha Beach Normandy, France ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"The largest amphibious invasion in history". The British were landing at Gold and Sword beach, the Canadians at Juno, and the Americans at Utah and Omaha...And you are at Omaha.
Are you puking, dazed from being so seasick? Are you stuck with the "I'm going to die" voice in your head, repeating itself? Are you simply gripping that wood and metal stick filled with bullets and waiting for it?
The waves rumble on the side of the little Higgins boat. Boom. Another explosion. You don't seem to care about what your NCO is screaming, you just stand there. Your feet are like roots into the soil. You don't want the door to open, you don't want to get off of the boat. __________________________________________________________________________ RULES AND NOTES:
1. First of all, I would like to say this is REALISTIC. No, your character is NOT going to run through the beach, kill every single German then blow up all the bunkers. In fact, he might not kill anybody. I'm making this painfully realistic. There are SOME heroic actions that will happen though.
2. No mary-sues. No.
3. No god-modding. Not even against the NPCs. Those two guys hiding behind the sand bags will blow off your head if you ignore them, so take cover. If 6 guys run out you don't say, "I shoot them they die".
4. This is WW2, D-Day.
5. Please be an Allied soldier (On the landing crafts). But yes, you can be an Axis soldier or Civilian/Resistance, or maybe even an airborne soldier but ask for permission.
6. Grammar. Use it.
7. You don't need to read all of weaponry. But you still need to pick out a weapon set.
8. (I'm trying to keep it realistic, not being s3xist.) For girls, you need to make your character a male if he is on a landing craft. But female French Resistance and Civilians are allowed later on when the Allies push up further.
9. We'll continue after this battle...
10. Put "WW2" if you have read the rules at the bottom of your CS. ___________________________________________________________________________ US WEAPONRY: ___________________________________________________________________________ RIFLES:

(Start)
Rumble. Splash. Patter of MG.
"Alright listen up!" I shout. "I need you spread out, and get up the beach as fast as you can!"
"Alright, you guys, with me!" I gesture towards the rest of you. I tell another NCO to take the rest of the men. (The NPCs) |

I cower and pull my helmet down between my eyes hiding, from the heavy gunfire and explosions; I just wanted it to go away. We aren't going to make it through here without scars; or we're not going to get at all! I then look at the NCO. "Sir, How long till landing?" I ask, trying to retain some courage. |

| I straighten, I load my BAR and load the last bullet; Whatever was out there. In my heart it was obvious: We were going to die, there was no chance of survival. They would pick us off with no morality. We would be picked clean before we even left. |

| As the most frightining explosion hit right on my side, I tightened my grip on my BAR; the front line wouldn't make it. Would I? I will, I'm determined. I WANT to survive. With that courage, I WOULD survive. But I wasn't sure, I was trying to enlighten myself. |

| A high pitched scream? No. That was the whistle, blowing ear-piercingly and blowing out droplets with it. I was blowing it. The door dropped down, and everybody now ran off the boat, or rot riddles with lead. |
