| The detail is can tell more than a movie can. Books are not slow they just seem to people who only read the first page and puts the book down forever. |

| Hunt for Red October was better as a book, but I think 2001 was better as a movie. It didn't explain as much, but you have the sense of mystery that way, which is better, I believe. |
