I have a TI-84 Plus, Silver Edition (SE). If you're talking Algebra classes and you're a programmer, your life has just become 20% easier. (\(^3^)/)

| I want to get the TI Nspire CX D: But it's like $200. Instead I'll make my own graphing calculator on Roblox. :P |

@Ozzypig Except that the language is pretty horrid. |

| What does TI-84 use for a language. I'd love to modify mine to simply solve all my problems.. It looks like a mash up of C and Lua O.O |

@aboy5643 You can compile things to run natively, or you can code on the thing in what everyone calls "TI-BASIC."
I hate the syntax. |

I hate the syntax, I love what I can do with it. No more Quadratic formula, distance, midpoint, slope, or changing log bases for me :D
Besides all that, I basically just troll my friend who can't program but really wants to know how. I make things like a Menu and he gets really jelly.

For a calculator, I think they did a great job at making a language. Have you tried anything better?
Would you rather *gasp* program in assembly?

| NUUUUUUUU. I like the basic syntax mostly I suppose... It's very similar to a stripped Lua almost... The syntax uses very similar wording and organizing. |

My first real program... (=/ is a Not Equal sign) It makes a 0 and you can use the arrow keys to move it around.
ClrDraw AxesOff 40->A:A->B:0->G
While G=/22 getKey->G If G=/0:Then Text(-1,A,B," "
A+(G=34)(A=/55)-(G=25)(A=/1)->A B+(G=26)(B=/90)-(G=24)(B=/0)->B Text(A,B,"0" End:End ClrDraw |

| Speaking of TI-84s and programming them, does anyone happen to know if there is an equivalent to the wait() function in the language the TI-84's use? |
