That movie was completely mind-blowing.
Also, when you do see it, keep an open eye out for a "Missing Space Shuttle". Try to guess the reference! :D |

| Yeah, the Pilot who got sneezed on, it showed him at the Airport getting ready to fly off, he sneezed blood on the floor, and got into the plane. So basically, he spreads the virus around the world which kills off most humans, and apes will run supreme. |

@Rasta Actually, this is a reboot. Not related to the original. However, that's a nice little referance, and a epic way for them to do a sequel. But I think they're going with a more original idea. I mean, there's lots of sequel ideas.
Especially the one scarred ape, Koba, I think he and Caesar could have a really epic duel, since Koba seems to dislike humans more then Caesar. |

Still, do you want me to build the statue of liberty? Because if so, I want to see the spaceship. |

Actually, it's more of a prequel.
The space shuttle goes for mars, but get's into a worm-hole somehow. The space shuttle then lands on Earth, in the future, when Earth has been overrun by apes. |

@The Yeah, and sure I'll give you the ship. It's in my main's models, which is STILL Banned.
Also, it's not a prequel. The original had the Icarus coming from the year 1972, which then they went into cryo sleep, woke up in the year 3978, and the first movie happened.
But I dont see why not, I mean the whole series is screwed up timeline-wise
The first movie takes place in 3978, the sequel took place in 3955. .-. |

Special effects and stuff were awesome, but the plot was unoriginal. This movie played out EXACTLY how I thought it would.

@swim
Unoriginal? Unoriginal would be if the Apes somehow took over the planet by a war. No. This plot was phenomenal. |

@Thor Racism? Not really. Only racism in it is people who want it to be racist, and those who think of Blacks when they hear "ape".
Planet of the Apes has always, and will always, be a series of political errors. The original showed us what could happen if we followed along with a Nuclear War, during the cold war. So forth. The new one, shows what could happen if we mess with genetics.
There's nothing racist about the series. |
