I, as a Linux user have wanted to play ROBLOX on my desktop computer which runs Ubuntu for some time now, but I realize how hard this is to do for each Operating System - If they port to Mac, Linux users want it, if they port it to the Deb binary file, RPM users will want it. If they get the whole of Linux done, what about FreeBSD? NetBSD? The answer is no matter how many Operating Systems you port it to, it will not be enough.... Unless....
I am a web developer, and I recently found out about 2 upgraded technologies and one new. HTML5, CSS3, and WebGL. Now, for ROBLOX, the best of these would probably be WebGL. The developers could port it to WebGL for a web browser based ROBLOX Play (Not Studio, that would be harder), then people on iPads, iPods, Linux users, BSD users, almost everyone with an internet connection will be able to play on it.
Also, I have read that WebGL is much like OpenGL, of which there are currently two ways to play ROBLOX, OpenGL and DirectX (I think). All they would have to do is get a new developer/see if the OpenGL developer would be able to, and ROBLOX would be able to get more customers as they are open to a wider group of people. I know the 1% Linux holds is not very much, but think about people with iPod Touches, iPads, devices which I think can support WebGL/Will be able to in the next version of them, would be able to play ROBLOX wherever they are.
