| So a hour thirty minute movie? Like I say every time. This is a bad idea. People get bored if it is over ten minutes. |

| I would motivate you into making this movie, but this has been a repetetive subject about Roblox The Movie, a movie that is never made. I would say, if you want you could make it, but hopefully you would make it great, not a hypercam, hud viewing video. Also, you made your first error, 100 members? Not recommended. It would be extreme hard to nearly impossible. The only way to do it, is to waste your life trying to make this movie. And that's not what making movies is about. |

It can be made, but it won't be good. I made a 1 hour movie in RL, it took 5 months. 3 of those months were for effects.
A 1 and a half movie? Thats some Pbat Sizzzzzz. It would take about 5 months fliming and 7 month editing to make it GOOD. But, I am sure you won't have th patience to make the movie. It's easier said then done. |

| And kids get bored easily, so he would scrap the project in 1 week, tops! That's why I say extremely difficult or impossible...Atleast in roblox it is. |

Indeed Hacker, I'm getting bored for making N00blies videos. I can't scrap the idea either, so I'll stick with it until 15/20 videos are made. |

As Ross and Hacker have said, this is a VERY bad idea.
Even I with much editing experience editing 20 minute long videos in a single DAY (obviously the result of far too much work) cannot ever recommend anyone doing this.
This would take you days if not weeks of solid work depending on what effects were required. |

@Seth. Roblox movies (4-5 minutes) take me 3 weeks to flim and edit. The editing in 2 weeks because I want the effects to look perfect. A hour and a half ROBLOX flim would take me a year. |

A day is the equivalant of me making a terrible little film two years ago.
Now making such a film would probably take me a week with the motion tracking, match moving, compositing and 3D animation I'd need to add.
And don't get me started on render times. |

Ugh, rendering times. You gotta hate them. I watch this guy that does Sims 3 House videos, and he's a mac nerd apparently, and he does this thing called an iBlog to tell people what is new with Apple and he said that Final Cut Pro X renders in the background. Why can't Vegas do that? D: |

Simple, Avatar features many things you can't obtain in a ROBLOX movie, involving a constant change in atmosphere, surroundings, a gripping storyline not to mention back-story and all that probably took a year or two to decide on before it was even thought to be a film.
To target the OP now, something like this is ridiculously huge, you're not going to do it... and if you do, there's a very slim chance people will watch it, and the ones that do, well they'd not finish it.
You see, ROBLOX the Movie is a title I don't even want to see, it's far to general, there is no story behind ROBLOX at the moment, why try to make one? I'm sure if you made it, you'd miss out everything that's good about roblox except for the social side, and even then, the social side isn't all that good. What with spammers, ODers, five year olds and people who think they're better than the universe.
So I am going to say this project is both stupid and impossible.
Try something a bit less idiotic. |

If you use proper editing techniques and have the skills required to do such a thing, then you CAN create a gripping hour long movie.
Of course, Avatar had been thought about and in production since Titantic was released; they had to push the movie back due to dozens of obvious issues, especially the fact that at the time, the only movie that was entirely made of computer generated imagery was Toy Story, and few other movies even incorporated it due to the lack of photorealism being an option to focus on for their artists. |

"Simple, Avatar features many things you can't obtain in a ROBLOX movie, involving a constant change in atmosphere, surroundings, a gripping storyline not to mention back-story and all that probably took a year or two to decide on before it was even thought to be a film." First of all, you were talking about visuals here, as well as plot. visuals do not matter how they look, but like how Sethi said, they needed to wait for improved CGI before they can achieve anything. Roblox is a bit more of a cartoony game so realism doesn't count here. And dear, avatar's plot was a 15 year old idea.
"To target the OP now, something like this is ridiculously huge, you're not going to do it... and if you do, there's a very slim chance people will watch it, and the ones that do, well they'd not finish it." Hey, youtube is a cruel business now-a-days. I would go to machinima to upload these, but then again machinima accepts good videos as far as I concerned.
"You see, ROBLOX the Movie is a title I don't even want to see, it's far to general, there is no story behind ROBLOX at the moment, why try to make one? What with spammers, ODers, five year olds and people who think they're better than the universe." Why are you mentioning the social part anyways? besides same thing happened to maplestory... They made an anime when back in the day there was no actual "STORY" to the game.
"So I am going to say this project is both stupid and impossible." Stupid? yes. Impossible? THE OPPOSITE!
"Try something a bit less idiotic." Oh no, here we go. |

Okay, simple question. What's the story to ROBLOX?
Give me a satisfactory answer to that and I'll be led slightly closer to believing it may be possible...
Go on, answer it : ).

| The issue is not the story to ROBLOX, but instead the story that you create; one does not have to make it pertain to the history of ROBLOX, but in which case you could always make up a creation story regardless. |

Well than it's not ROBLOX is it, just an idea of it, which makes the title both misleading and wrong.

Well looking at the NEWS log, roblox is cannonicly created like this: There was one brick, and then it multiplied.
So basically yeah... there is nothing beyond that so you have unlimited options. |

@hacker225
I remember doing that too, when there were 64 colors I was making a news like video and the reporter says that the brick mine has actually mined deep enough for these. |
