| You really think McNabb didnt try for the Skins? First your dumb new schedule now this? Man youre dumb. Do you know how much talent he had around him? I meesed up GM and coaching staff, not much talent around him, and a terrible O-Line. Why would you give someone a 5 year deal then bench them? That team is stupid. McNabb gave his all but his teammates werent able to produce. Yeah he had a down season, but hes still a great QB. Hopefully he resurrects his career in Minny |

"I meesed up GM and coaching staff" >mike shanahan >bad >2 super bowls >in a row ahahhahahahhahaha
"not much talent around him" >santana moss >williams >cooley
"and a terrible O-Line." >16 sacks >Jay cutler was sacked 50+ times >made it to playoffs ahahahahahahah
"Why would you give someone a 5 year deal then bench them?" hmmmmmmmm, maybe he DOESN'T WANT TO PLAY? why do you think they dealt him, for a sixth round pick?
"You see a guy that's been a Pro Bowler six timesHe was going to come in and really help us win more games, but it didn't work out. Relationships broke down, and now he's not here, but you can't really focus on that. You've got to continue to move forward." linebacker Lorenzo Alexander |

| 3 people besides him isnt much talent. And Williams who? And you cant measure an O-Lines success by counting sacks. McNabb was often left feeling the pressure and hurried allot throughout the season. And Jay Cutler had more weapons around him on offense and the Bears had a better defense. Jay Cutler didnt get the Bears to the playoffs by himself. |

"3 people besides him isnt much talent." the steelers have ward, randle-el, and wallace they managed to make it
"And you cant measure an O-Lines success by counting sacks." yeah you can as an o-lineman myself, if you give up a sack, you've doomed that drive.
"McNabb was often left feeling the pressure and hurried allot throughout the season." that's his problem if the O-line is giving 5-6 seconds, that should be enough
"And Jay Cutler had more weapons around him on offense" so? if he has no protection, he loses
"Jay Cutler didnt get the Bears to the playoffs by himself." but he still managed to put up a better performance than mcnabb |

The Steelers also had Mendenhall and Heath Miller. Hines Ward and Mike Wallace are also arguably better WR's than Santana Moss.
And again, if your QB is getting rushed, he will be forced to make bad decisions. The Bears also have Hester, Knox, Forte, and had Olsen.
Youre comparing the Deadskins to other teams that are better. Teams that have better coaching staff and a better front office. If you havent noticed, Dan Snyder is a JOKE. |

okay fine i agree
but mcnabb was disgruntled and asked for a trade. he didn't want to play the way shanny wanted him to play. that's why he was benched. |

| Obviously he didnt want to play for the Skins. The Skins are terrible. Shanny had no clue how to use him. I wouldnt blame McNabb for wanting to get on the A Train outta there, that organization is a DISASTER |

uhhh, not trying to provoke the argument again, but you said that he did give his all, but then you said he didn't want to play
and shanny is a good coach, especially with QBs. He was OC for the 49ers when they won their fifth super bowl. he led the broncos to back to back super bowls. he knew how to use mcnabb, but the skins suck so yeah
and i don't think dan snyder makes the decisions for the skins btw |

| I said McNabb didnt want to play in Washington after the seaosn, at lwast thats how I meant it. And McNabb didnt fit in well with Shanny's O. And Dan Snyder is the GM I think. The top dog. |

McNabb + Shanahan = disaster
Shanny is always looking for new guys to replace people and there is no way McNabb would win a SB there which is what he wants to do. |
