Any suggestions?
I've got the echo, set, dir and cd command set up completely, working variables and everything.
I plan on doing the 'tree' command next, but I'm not sure how to make it say:
>Part >Model >>Part
Instead of:
>Part >Model
I'm taking suggestions and solutions for the 'tree' command. You can see the current version in my place.

| Why are you doing this if you don't understand the concept of recursion? |

@Mod
I'm a perfectly capable scripter, I posted this REALLY late last night, and I can't do ANY math at night for some reason. ( I struggle with even the most basic math )
I can do that now...
But seriously, I don't even have a Unix command shell ready to use, so I think I'll keep it windows.
I can add non-windows commands though, if you want.

Count = 1
function PrintTree(Object) local Stuff = Object:GetChildren() print(">" .. Object.Name) Count = Count + 1
for i = 1, #Stuff do print( string.rep(">", Count) .. Stuff[i].Name)
if Stuff[i]:GetChildren() then PrintTree(Stuff[i]) end
end
Count = 1 end
I think that would work... ~The Master~ |

No it wouldn't...
Count = 1
function TreeRep(Object) local Stuff = Object:GetChildren() print(string.rep(">", Count) .. Object.Name) Count = Count + 1
for i = 1, #Stuff do
if Stuff[i]:GetChildren() then RepTree(Stuff[i]) else print( string.rep(">", Count) .. Stuff[i].Name) end
end end
function PrintTree(Object) if Object:GetChildren() then RepTree(Object) elseif Object == nil then print("Object is nil") else print(string.rep(">", Count) .. Object.Name) end
Count = 1 end
That's better.
