| Why do you hate Scene emo? I mean, all we're doing is wearing our skinny jeans ya know... Just trying to get by like you people, some people are apparently offended. Why? I mean we haven't done anything to you, we aren't trying to empose ourselves on you. I mean, why do you hate us? Is it because we're not like you? is it.. Because we don't dress like you? Is it because.. we.. Don't listen to the same music as you? I mean, not all of us listen screamo, some of us like different music, I like metal and hip hop.. Rapping.. So, yeah, why do you hate us? You have your stlye we have our style. I stand by my question why do you hate us? Just, leave me an answer. |

| We don't label ourselves. We try to get by, like you and like everyone else. And you clearl didn't read everything I said. You just read "Why do you hate Scen emo?" If you read it then maybe you would understand what i'm trying to get at |

You call yourself scene.
That's self-labeling. |

The British Teddy Boy (also known as Ted) subculture is typified by young men wearing clothes that were partly inspired by the styles worn by dandies in the Edwardian period, styles which Savile Row tailors had attempted to re-introduce in Britain after World War II. The subculture started in London in the 1950s, and rapidly spread across the UK, soon becoming strongly associated with American rock and roll. Originally known as Cosh Boys, the name Teddy Boy was coined when a newspaper headline shortened Edward to Teddy.
The hippie subculture was originally a youth movement that arose in the United States during the mid-1960s, swiftly spreading to other countries around the world. The hippie subculture still exists across the United States and remains relevant today. The etymology of the term 'hippie' is from hipster, and was initially used to describe beatniks who had moved into New York City's Greenwich Village, San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district, and similar urban areas. Both the words "hip" and "hep" came from black American culture and denote awareness. To say "I'm hip to the situation" means "I am aware of the situation." Thus the word "hippie" means "one who is aware,".
Greasers are a working class youth subculture that originated in the 1950s among young northeastern and southern United States street gangs. The style and subculture then became popular among other types of people, as an expression of rebellion. In the 1950s and early 1960s, these youths were known as hoods. The name greaser came from their greased-back hairstyle, which involved combing back hair with wax, gel, creams, tonics or pomade. |

| @MattRules54321, Emo scene is completly different to emo's. Emo's are stryotypes. Scene emo's are fashion. |

Long ago life was clean Things were bad and obscene And the rich were so mean Stately homes for the Lords Croquet lawns, village greens Victoria was my queen Victoria, Victoria, Victoria, 'toria
I was born, lucky me In a land that I love Though I am poor, I am free When I grow I shall fight For this land I shall die Let her sun never set Victoria, Victoria, Victoria, 'toria Victoria, Victoria, Victoria, toria

"Met a traveller upon the Greenway road One night, on the way to Bree From under hooded cloak, glowing ember and his pipe smoke He called and hailed to me
Just then the dusk-wolf howled and I feared brigands on the road And he looked fair enough to me
So I drew my pony up, and I asked the rider his name This is what he said to me:
I'm just a minstrel with a wandering horse Not all who wander are always lost I follow those stars there you see on high That's the Swordsman of the Sky See war is coming on these gentle lands Long is the reach of dark hands I've come to warn your folk, these roads will soon be weary Beneath marching boots of evil enemies
The stranger's warspeech kindled dread in my soul Like the burning embers in his pipe-bowl Something in his voice, like a call to fate I asked him if it was too late To warn of what will be, can our folk remain free This is what he said to me:
I'm just a minstrel with a wandering horse Not all who wander are always lost I can sing to you a great prophecy From beyond the Western Seas But stand fast, defend the people free The last battle is yet to be I sing of hope in the shining belt on high Seek the Swordsman of the Sky" Hope this answers your question. :) |
