"The PLA's reserves are 10x the size of the population of North Korea." People fit for military service aren't reserves, they're called civilians, and they really suck at shooting guns. |

| South Korea technologically beats NK, they could just call a mobilisation and steamroll them. |

| South korea would lose if they wouldnt get help from US. And the biggest threat with NK is not their nukes but their artillery, they can shell SK causing loads of civilian and military casualties. |

If there was it would technically be the Third Korean War as the Second was a series of border clashes between South and North Korean troops on the DMZ with minimal US military intervention between 1965-1967.
Also I think there will be. Friedman asserts a likely United Korea, so I'm betting that the two will go at sporadically and South Korea will be the victor due to being the more favorable of the two internationally and Seoul will probably dominate the new Korea.
Also who ever thinks China will support North Korea is a dunderhead as a rift has been growing between the nations since the 70's and has grown even more since the 90's due to an immigration problem at the Yellow River. |
