| Let's just ignore Haiti's troubled history with slavery and dictatorships, and blame capitalism! |

The bare existence of capitalism and the fostering of conditions conducive to economic growth are two entirely different things. We had this argument over semantics yesterday.
Haiti has failed at the second. |

The real problem is that Haitians are black
just kidding.
I think its something called the blackman revenge syndrom, where once a group of people gets their freedom, and oppress the better off, they take away the rich, and the riches ability to provide for the people by making businesses and other things to benefit the economy. Like what happened in Zimbabwe. |

False. This should give you all the information you need. http://www.heritage.org/Index/Country/haiti
Here's a few things that stick out: - Natural resources are considered "property of the State." - Foreign ownership of property is strictly forbidden. - Protection of property and investment is extremely weak. |

I'll even throw in a ranking from the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation, which puts Haiti at 162nd.

| Capitalism without any capital doesn't work, I don't understand why some people can't understand that. |

I do not care for both eartquakes.
I wouldn't donate to a dictator that only uses the money to improve his presidental house.
I wouldn't donate to a country, which is obviously rich and can fix an absolutely destroyed bridge in 5 days. |

And isn't it telling that capitalism requires perfect conditions in order to function? How can you put your faith in a system that, ___ Perfect conditions, hardly. No Western country has perfect conditions, but they're good enough conditions, and they work well enough. Of course they can be made better.
a.) requires a monopoly on force to exist, ___ Is there something wrong with this?
and b.) collapses every 5-10 years? ___ Don't fear the Boom and Bust, Grim! Besides, every recent recession has been caused by energy prices, which communism would not be immune to. |

| Haiti is out of fashion, like long white T-Shirts from the early 90's. |

| I don't really care about Haiti. Should have remained a French colony. |

"WHAT DID THEY EVER DO FOR US!??"
2/3rd largest economy in the world, not much.
Then again, I'm not sure if you're trolling, or a stereotypical US citizen. |
