| If your going to restore a old computer, I consider keeping the original Ms Dos 1.00 system. |

| You should get the Windows Ultimate, so it runs like brand as new, then take the covering off of the CPU and do a paint job on it, or get it restored for around 100 bucks. Make sure all the lights in the monitor work, and keep the mouse and keyboard. The keyboard will need new keys, which you can get from any keyboard at a thirft store or something. It won't work via wireless connection so make sure you have a plug beside it and have the same plug in the computer as the wall. The total price should be around 500-600 dollars. |

| Restoring means you make it as much like the original as possible; not making a completely new everything. |

Pizza
After rebuilding many PC's, I have found the best way to go is just to forget Windows 7, If your gunna go modern then the farthest you go is Vista. |

| So you're putting a brand new PC inside the shell of an old one, not restoring it? |

If you prefer Windows 7 then do it
Personally, I think Vista is the best way to go because it gives you more power over what you want your computer to do. Windows 7 is all about Simplicity and wont give you those options Vista did. |
