| Due to the citizens of Vorx being angry with the government not telling them why they need a fleet to be built it is finally leaked that we might attempt to travel across the Void Band. |

(Problem with plasma shields: they have a very easily detectable thermal signature.) (I really need to scale down, I'm used to using and fighting fleets of thousands...) (I follow my own words of advice btw.) |

Instead of building only 10 they will continue building until we have to stop.
(The Vorx Conqueror is a cruiser but almost half the ship is used for housing military mechs.) |

"No response, sir." The Comm's officer said. "Damn. Prepare to land. We'll try personal negotiations. Also, prep the troops as a precaution." |

(Plasma is an ionized gas. These particular shields don't give off a particularly strong thermal signature. Unless at battle conditions the shields are usually just to prevent particles from piercing the hull.)
Battlecruiser Goma
The Cruiser's mission was on hold. An alien vessel was holding over the Homeworld and preparing to send people to the surface.
A message was sent to the alien vessel.
"Do not land on the planet. Or your vessel will be fired upon. Negotiations will commence over this channel. Stand By." |

@Xilirite At the edge of Unity space 3 unknown FTL signatures are detected heading towards a Unity controlled planet. |

| The Homeworld Dreadnaught (They are unnamed, but the crew refers to it as Retaliate) Sends out it's fighters to investigate, and trains all guns on, activating it's Sub-FTL drives to get there. A few frigates follow. The Retaliate loads it's cannon and preps the Spacer B (Spacer A is the improved model, it's on the Fleet Dreadnaught) for firing. |

| The three signatures abruptly drop out of FTL. One of the ships is huge, armed with at least twenty heavy cruiser to cruiser weapons and several dozen other weapons capable of causing a considerable dent in one. The other two are considerably smaller, but for their size are very heavily armed, each having at least 60 guns, however only a few of them seem to be meant for taking on cruisers. |

A single ping is heard throughout the dreadnaught. That was a single. Dreadnaught C was complete. And a distress single was sent out. The captain of the Retaliate laughed. "Perfect!" As the rest of the frigates from the home world arrived, the Main Fleet arrived. The Dreadnaught C couldn't charge up the FTL drives, but it was approaching. The mainfleet had been just outside the system, waiting for the scout ships to get back. It was a good thing it wasn't wartime, or else this would've been much...messier. "Fire Spacer A! Fire Spacer B!" Two white beams shot out from underneath the Dreadnaughts. They hit the larger cruiser, tearing through the hull. It was over in a second, but it left a hole in the hull. Perfect. The troop carriers shot out from them, heading straight for the break in the hull. The frigates all opened fire on the other ships, and the fighters all swarmed them, fired Spears at vital areas. All this happened in the course of 10 seconds. The Co-ordination was perfect-it was their main defense strategy, and they had practiced it hundreds of times. It was in improvisation-adapting to the situation-where most, but not all captains, fell apart. (Um, hope this isn't too godmoddy, but as I said, this is two VERY powerful ships, and a bout a hundred frigates, all attacking at once. After all, it is TWO fleets at once. (The fleet+The Homeworld Defense=A force to be reckoned with)) |

The Journey ships had been attacked. A fleet was standing on the very doorstep of the Homeworld. The Council agreed that measures had to be taken. Planetary shields came online. Orbital Defense batteries came online. Only half an hour away was the Fleet. Almost 300 Ships. From Battle cruisers to Fighters. All warping to this position. The moon of Aurion also had several Battlecruisers and Frigates in orbit.
(I hope you realize you just attacked a heavily defended world. One that does not show mercy. Nor give up. Also for future RP's sake. Warn me ahead of time so that I have time to plan future posts) |

| The three ships opened fire with all batteries, the hole in the large ship appeared to have hit something important as several batteries were not firing. The ships began maneuvering to retreat. However the massive shells being fired from the larger ships main guns wreaked havoc on the opposing ships, leaving fields of twisted and charred scrap wherever they hit. The hail of fire from the smaller guns was so intense that fighters could barely get in range with anything but their longest ranged weapons. It appeared that these ships were heavily armed from all sides though the majority of the heaviest weapons were closer to the front. |

They threw the module out of the cargo bay and sped off away from the frigate.

(Oh. I see. Well then.)
Battlecruiser Goma-
The communications officer stood in front of the Holographic Projector. Activating the device around his neck in order to communicate with the others.
(In the Cal Aurion fleet communications officers handle all communications. Instead of the officer in charge.)
"This is Life. We greet you to Cal Aurion. What is your business?" He asks in a deep slow voice. |

Dreadnaught C Arrived, firing it's Spacer straight through the Two Smaller ships, aiming at roughly the same spot they hit the larger ship. Meanwhile, the Spears all streak towards the smaller ships. Although the point-D's destroy some, the huge barrage manages to hit, reduced the side of the first smaller ship to molten slag, while the other is simply damage. The Dreadnaughts also fire on the smaller ships, as not to harm the troop transports, which arrive on the ship. The soldiers all turn on a camera in their helmet, which streams back to the Dreadnaught, which in turn streams back to the Homeworld-so that even if the mission is a failure, we at least know what happened. The soldiers split up into five groups-each with 10 Needlers and 15 UAF Infantry-and explore the ship. With a hole in the hull, FTL would be risky-the weakened armor plating could shred apart, and the hole would only grow larger. Meanwhile, more fighters come from DNC, and these also fire on the smaller ships-reducing the second one to scrap (Think about this: 88x3x4%2 missiles just hit each of the smaller ships. That 528 missiles, hitting each one. Taking into account Point Defense, that's just under 500, probobaly about 478. That's still devestating.) |

Back in The Dark Space (Our name for unknown space (which is, too say, anything other then our star system)) Taris opens up Comm. "I am Ammbassador Taris, of The Unity-a single star system, united under one flag. We have come to make allies, and too expand our influence to other territories. Now, we must ask that you tell us who you are-we can't very well deal with strangers, now, can we?" Her tail rises slightly off the ground. (The tails are like lizards tails, and they can express emotions, as their faces cannot. The tail, if it's twitching, or swishing back and forth, is a sign of negativity, and if it rises off the ground, it shows positivity. Depending on how extreme the action (i.e. uncontrollable twitching, constant swishing, or raising high off the ground) the more extreme the emotion.) |
