(Congratulations, you just picked up a warp point anchor module.) In very short order a massive ship of unknown design ends its FTL jump just outside of the asteroid field. The ship changes course as to make its way o the module itself. To remove possibly hazardous asteroid (ones above a certain size) several gun batteries begin to fire. The ship appears to have am almost entirely black paint job and it is registering that the hull is made of an unknown alloy containing traces of depleted Uranium. The ship also has a very unusual shield signature. |

The ship started fleeing through the asteroid field, being a light mining ship in design.
The scientist made an attempt at destroying the device they picked up.

Upon receiving damage the module begins to spark and destabilize, its energy reading shoots up and the object begins emitting a sizable amount of heat. ~~~~~~ The cruiser appeared to be priming heavier weapons. |

Faction name: Cal Aurion Combine Species: Cal Aurions Culture: Cal Aurions are amphibious beings that hail from the planet Aurion and it's moon Cal. They are a very xenophobic species and tend to defend their borders heavily. Almost a Millenia ago (In earth years) a civil war decimated their population. Since then they have rebuilt and united under one government after the discovery of other sentient life. Primary Weapons/Defenses technologies: Their ships are very fluid looking. Almost as if a wave splashed forth from the oceans of their planet and took the form of a starship. Their weapons are primarily Directed Energy weapons. Using the Phased Energy Rectification technology. (Star Trek Phaser equivalent). Their defensive technologies are extremely well engineered. Their ships have a honeycomb interior and are able to withstand extreme pressures and damage. The ships utilize electroplasma shielding that is effective against both directed energy and matter based weaponry. Weak to lasers. Advantages: The Species can breath underwater. Disadvantages: Xenophobia. Inability to cooperate with other species. Other:
Species Sheet Species Name: Cal Aurion Appearance: Their heads are long, almost 2 feet with the end looking like a large eel from Earth's oceans. They stand almost 8 feet tall and speak in slow deep voices. They vary in color from dark blue to bright orange. Diet: Omnivore Biological weapons: Have extreme strength when compared to a human because of their underwater lifestyle. Other: Cal Aurion are extremely easy to offend and very often outsiders find themselves with a death sentence for using the wrong words in the wrong place. |

Faction name: The Unity Species: Elarnasians Culture: Very ancient-Almost everything they do has been done by them for thousands of years Primary Weapons/Defenses technologies: They have an experimental weapon called the Needle, which is extremely armor piercing. The only problem is that it heats up tremendously fast, and take up to an hour to recharge. They also have a meterial called Weave-A type of metal that, when made into strands, and crisscrossed across armor plating, significantly increases the defensive capabilities of that item. However, the metal is rare, and the process is painstakingly slow. Advantages: Very capable in a fight. The planets the Unity occupies were all, at one point, controlled by other nations Disadvantages: The Unity is very reckless, and doesn't ever think of the long term. They see a planet that would be easier to take over then be allies with, and they'll attempt to do so. This has, more then once, almost dismantled the Unity. Other: N/A

Other: Only three of these are known too exist-One of them is still in construction, one of them is defending the home planet, and one of them is in command of the main fleet. This is due to the fact that even one of these costs more then five hundred million to create.
Name: Aravol XII Role: Frigate Armament: 2 Cannons, 8 Point Defense, One Hanger (With Two Troop Carriers and 22 Fighters Defense: An Energy Field Other: There are about 40 of these in the Main Fleet, and 20 in defense of the Homeworld
Name: Aravol VIII Role: Fighter Armament: 4 Spears (Long, Long, LOOOOOOONG Range Missles) and two Repeaters Defense: Armor Weave (In the cockpit and engines) and a personal EF Other: Only a bit more then a hundred less then 2000 of these exist, due their extraordinary cheapness. The down side is that they are very easy to destroy. In the end, their strengths are their speed and their Spears: If a spear locks on to you, it's VERY hard to dodge, unless something happens to fly right into it. However, they often don't get a chance to fire these off.

| We had a frigate on patrol in an unknown (to us) area of space when it comes across a planet that seems inhabited. The ship hailed the planet, hoping for a response. On the ship was Captain Sarenil-A tall man, With Dark Green skin. His tail swished back and forth, the end twitching. He was agitated. "Get me something to dr-to drink!" He said, stuttering and with a trace of annoyance. Something had put him on edge, and the crew didn't know what. "Taris, you take this call." Taris was the Political advisor on the ship. Each patrol ship had an ambassador, just in case something like this happened. |

| A new ship named the Vorx Conqueror is being researched it is like the VOrx flagship, the Vorx Eliminator, but in smaller scale and fitted with thousands of solar panels to harness the sun's energy, the energy is then stored in large machines and then pumped into whatever needs it, 10 posts to research. after research it will begin to be produced as the bulk of the Vorx fleet, the Vorx Eliminator is being fitted with solar panels, 10 posts. |

(There aren't any 'Hairless Bipedal Hominid' controlled planets on this side of the Void Band. So unless you're on the other side of the void band to investigate what happened to the colonies. Then again it might be an as of yet undiscovered and developed world) (So question is, which side of the void band are you on?) |

So these are the 4 Things you guys will encounter at first. I will post sheets for later soldiers and what not later.
Unit sheet Name: Council Of 3 Role: Commander of Starships Armament: None Defense: Light Combat Armor Other: A Council of 3 is a group of Cal Aurion who have spent much time together and developed a psionic bond. These groups of 3 are often in command of many things from Starships to Government positions.
Unit sheet Name: Aqua Sykoris Role: Frigate Armament: 5 kolosh (Phaser) batteries. Forward and Rear anti-matter charge launchers. Defense: Honeycomb Hull Structure and Plasma Shielding Other: The workhorses of the Aurion fleet, these ships are a common sight in large engagements.
Unit sheet Name: Aqua Klimata Role: Battlecruiser Armament:12 kolosh batteries. Quad forward and rear anti-matter charge launchers. Forward facing Koloshar (Very Large directed energy weapon) Weapon. Defense: Honeycomb Hull Structure. primary and secondary plasma shielding Other: These typically lead groups of 3 or 6 Sykoris into battle.
Unit sheet Name: Kabal Role: Basic Crewman Armament: Kolosh Pistol Defense: Light combat armor. Other: Extremely loyal. With a strong naval tradition. Some of the best starship crewman in the region.

(THose are fine and accepted) (Side note, if you want you can make considerably more powerful ships than this common. Either that or pound per pound those are some really nasty guns.) (Um, it's Humanoid, as in has the same body structure as a human (Or at least similar. It means it has two legs on the bottom, two arms near the neck, a torso where everything else it connected, and a head on top. A creature with two legs in the middle of the body, the body is horizontal, the arms are on the top and bottom of the body, and there is no head, only a face, would NOT be a humanoid. I'm on your side of the band, but only just barely-I'm on the very edge of the band (As in, if the band was a line, I would rest on the edge of that line, but not at the END of the line...you know what I mean) And we basicly took control of this one single star system, and have only recently developed FTL and IGT, as we focused much more on developing new weapons. So, we're scouting the nearby areas, and one of the ships (The one with Sarentil) discovered a Union planet.) |

(Oh, a bit of explanation for the Armor-Weave AW is almost Weightless, but provides so much defense, that it is rather ludicrous. This allows all the benefits of heavy armor, and all the benefits of light armor. This allows things with AW to move faster then something with the amount of metal required to meet it's defense. The downside is it is REALLY rare, the metal used to create AW (Which we've called Morroweave) and only a few people know how to make it. As a result, it is very uncommon for AW to be used, which is why only the lesser half of our units use it.) |

| Due to complaints from government advisors about the massive amount of energy required to keep the Vorx fleet running most of the energy cannons are replaced with Rocket cannons, Mechs are fitted with chainguns with special bullets that can rip through very hard armor in a matter of minutes, 5 posts. A small fleet is ordered to be built to protect the Vorx moons where a large number of Vorx resources come from, 1 Vorx conqueror every 10 posts until 10 COnquerors are built. |

The Grand Three had decided that now was the time to make their own expedition across the void. A group of 3 Frigates and 1 Battlecruiser were dispatched toward the narrow part of the void. The voyage would take almost a year, with no guarantee of return.
Aboard the Cal Aurion Battlecruiser Goma (In their language means Life)
The ship was smooth and graceful. Perhaps not as powerful as other race's ships but far more maneuverable and capable of stealth if the time called for it. The term "Running in the Dark" was accepted as the phrase for stealth mode among sailors in the Cal Aurion.
As the ship accelerated to warp speed the lights along the ship blacked out. The outer plasma shields intensified blocking the power signatures from within them. Running in the Dark. |
