My next suggestion is this. Comments should filter the words fail, sucks, stupid, and dumb. If someone types those it goes automatically to [Content Deleted].
Seriously, there's a different from constructive criticism and being rude.
Constructive criticism: "Your place is okay, but I have a good idea on how to help it...!"
Being rude: "FAIL AD, FAIL PLACE U SUCK"

| You can use most, if not all of those words in different ways that are not rude comments. Words like those convey emotion, if you can't tell the emotion, you don't know how badly they hate your idea. |

@Unknown You shouldn't tell anyone you hate their idea. It's just plain rude. |

No. I agree with Unknown. It might not let what the comment says come out in the way the critic wrote it as.

@13 Why critic a place if it's not constructive? |

| Maybe they could also make a filter where you can't post negative comments... only nice and happy comments are allowed. |

If you can't post negative comments, then the builder wouldn't know what to work on.

@13 You tell them what to work on in a nice comment, like "Your place rocks! You should really add cars in it, though." |

Because negativity produces a more clear vision than positivity or "constructive criticism" as you call it.
Just take a look at my criticisms on the ideas in this forum. Zero positivity, 99% persuasive. |

@liir Then most things you post in comments would automatically be deleted so you don't hurt anyone's feelings! |

| Oh, and on what planet is "U SUK NOOB" more informative than "Please add cars in your place!" |

True critics care little to none for their victims' "feelings". If it sucks, it sucks and somebody's gonna tell you.
Plain and simple fact, and I pity you for your mental disability if you failed to understand it. |

@Liir Nobody wants to hear anyone's negativity. It'd be much nicer if the community was kind and supportive to all places rather than being mean critics. |

> Oh, and on what planet is "U SUK NOOB" more informative than "Please add cars in your place!" Hey, not my fault this is a kids' site. Expect comments like that. Just ignore them or ask him to politely state why he doesn't like it or you.
The latter is not terribly informative either, considering the fact it doesn't state why it's supposedly "needed" or anything of the like. |

Certainly, but as I stated before, TRUE critics use negativity to drill the information into the recipients' head while still taking advantage of the "constructive" part of constructive criticism to keep them listening.
You realize what I'm saying, yes? |

Yes, but we don't need real critics, too bully-ish. You have to remember that you're dealing with 7-14 year olds here. This is a kid's site, not a place where you inform someone about everything they did wrong in a mean way. |

Not necessarily in "a mean way"; but in a way that it takes an impact on your thoughts and feelings alike.
I'm not bully-ish, as you call it. But I am with certainty negative. It'll be a blue moon and the stars aligned for me to give any praise. |
