I need tips on building vehicles that don't move forward by thmeselves. The APC will use a VehicleSeat to move, but when I do use one the APC starts moving itself. Tips?

No idea. Maybe it's the APC's structure that makes it move (it's unbalanced)? I'm unskilled in making vehicles anyways, so I wouldn't know...

That would be called Momentum. You can always try it so the chassis of the car Anchors when you get off.

For all I know, Momentum occurs when something has been apllying force to an object, no force or Velocities here. BTW, I'm bad at scripting, which would be in another forum.

NVM, I found the reason is to prevent sticking to the ground, it takes a 0.4 stud drop, and that causes the wheels to rotate. But now, how to make a platform the vehicle won't get stuck on w/o scripting?

Maybe its something simple, Like you put motors on the wheels, instead of hinges?

Well if you are going to request stay here. By momentum I mean you are driving 100 mph on the highway and a cop turns on his sirens so you pull over and brake. You will still be going when you brake until the wheels completely stop. Momentum is also how roller-coasters work. They get pulled to the top of the first hill then they are let go and momentum keeps them working.

"You will still be going when you brake until the wheels completely stop." Ahem, when you brake 'hard',the wheels do stop, but their kind of smooth surface makes them slide on the road, thus being the cause of most road accidents. |
