| You guys should make a thing so that every time roblox crashes (Wich is a LOT) the work is saved (I got the idea from Microsoft Word, once I was working on somthing, and my computer shut down. I started it up and there was my work still in word! But no autosave! Becuase once I accidentally deleted the floor, and if it autosaved then it would've made it worse. |

Tie It Up - we're sorry about the crashes - we're working hard to make things more and more reliable. Is there anything in particular that you is related to crashes, or do they just seem random?
Thanks!

It crashes because your computer is probably old. How old is it? Blecause I had the same prob. But then I got a new Laptop and it works fine and never crashes anymore. |

Bloxgirl5 - we're trying to make ROBLOX compatible with a PIII 700Mhz machine and up - although we do recommend using the latest Windows updates.

It crashes a bit on mine too, and mine is fairly decent. Pentium 4 3.2ghz 1GB memory
What I would really like is an undo. My place is very dynamic (lots of moving things) and if I make a mistake pieces go flying off the map or out of place and I have to go back to my last save game. |

| Builderman, I am having a bit of trouble adding weapons into my place. I know how to do the process. My problem is that the weapons won't be there to use (except sling shot) and I did save my place. |

It's quite likely that Roblox crashses due to your video card drivers. Usually when games crash often it's because of unstable video drivers or DirectX/OpenGL driver clashes. ATI is skilled at creating unstable drivers which is why I've stuck with nVidia ever since they bought out 3DFX.
Anyway, patch up Windows with the latest updates. Go to your video cards website and get the latest drivers.
Check to make sure that you have the absolute latest DirectX and OpenGL drivers. I believe Roblox is done with OpenGL so updating your video cards should also patch up OpenGL.
My best suggestion though is to drop the ATI card and get a good GeForce FX card. |

THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE CRASHES!!! This is about what can happen if it does crash. -Some feature that makes your work not be lost (If Crashed) -Autosave, Maybe? (If the place is called "Place" make the autosave called "place1" so if you accidentally break something it doesn't autosave over the top) -Matt-

| The ATI card is working and I'm a freak at updates. I tried MS Flight Simulator 2004 in HIGH detail mode and that really eats up my dad's GeForce 9900 GTX. Well, my Physix card might help with that... |

Hey Matt,
Thanks, we understand. We're working on saving-related improvements apart from reliability improvements. It's a very good suggestion.
Best!
