can you place a script as an instnce, and control what is in it? if so how, if it's impossible, then how can you make a new instance have code in it?

type(Object) --> Userdata
type(newproxy(true)) --> Userdata
You have created your own object. Now learn metatables and you'll dominate roblox. o: |

all right, metatables are WAY too advanced for me, but thanks for trying. all i really want to do is put a script in a part made by a script. if that's impossible without metatables, i kinda give up on lua.......... D:

Eh, just keep learning, metatables are just hard when you start on them, but they get much easier ...

one thing. how can i keep learning? it's like one second i want to know something simple, then the next second it turns out to be far more advanced than i could ever hope to learn. that's why i kind of want to stop trying, 'cause i'll just fail, and i have to face the fact i can't learn to script without a real teacher. so yeah. i give up.

... -.- Think of what roblox would be if all scripters and programmers thought that way ... Think of technology in general, in science too. You just have to keep trying, even though they might be easy, everything will look hard at first, since you are just starting, and the first language one learns is always the hardest.
