Is there a way to make a folder in Workspace so you could easily file/organize every value/script? I don't want to use Model.
Any suggestions?
An example is the folder, configuration in Guis. |

| ... Should I just use configuration, the folder, in workspace as well? It doesn't effect anything in any way, right? |

That sounds like a great idea!
Unfortunately, we can only use models as that for now.
You should post this in the S&I. |

| Models are the folders of the workspace. Use them. There is no real downside to them is there? Why wouldn't you want to use them? |

| That don't look nice. Lol. If you actually think about it, a division between script grouping and brick grouping should be something on ROBLOX. To tell the difference between what is what... Lol. |

| Just name them different things. All a model is is a Folder object with a different name and Icon, having an all-new folder object where all they did was change the name would be completely pointless, it wouldn't add anything. If you're thinking of size/space, a folder object uses probably the least ammount of data of any object type in existence. |

| I really don't think that the visual aspect should matter too much especially since it won't matter in-game and sure they may also be used for brick grouping but multi-purpose tools arn't bad. |

| Lol. Okay, thanks guys, but can you tell me one thing, what's the purpose of a Configuration folder? Can it be used in a tool, Workspace (Scripts), StartGui (ScreenGui), etc.? |

| try using strings. use the GetChildren() function, it should neatly organize everything in the workspace, if you know how to use it, that is. |

| Great idea. Model icon look uglier. Folder icon is best, though. |

| Yes. True. And you still can but not make dragging into the workspace. You have to either copy paste it into the object or by script, forcing the Parent to be the script or whatever. =D |

| O btw configurations folder is for wrench tool. Its usefull for building games. In configurations folder you put in all propertys what you could change with wrench and then script them so they work. Its not very handy tought but still. |

This is a really good idea.
Models SHOULD be
Groups of parts alone, or scripts and parts.
Folders should be
Groups of scripts only.
Dunno, it'd make it seem more organized. It's basically copying a model, and making it scripts only. |

Use a Backpack. It looks like a folder. :) (I used a Backpack to hold configuration values for my Rules GUI model)
