------------------ INFORMATION: ------------------
If you have a passion or interest in designing video games and want to help me, please continue reading this forum post.
Also, you will be volunteering; I will not be able to pay you. If your still interested, please read the rest of this forum post for instructions.
------------------ INSTRUCTIONS: ------------------
First, you will need to download Unity. Search "Unity 3d" in google and click the first link.
Second, you will need to search "tornado twins unity 3d tutorial" on youtube. This will lead you to a tutorial set created by the Tornado Twins. Follow along with all these tutorials and create the game with them. Once you have finished the game, PM me with the title "Becoming a Game Dev".
Third, if you get stuck in the tutorials, PM me with the title, "Help with Becoming a Game Dev". I encourage you to try and finish without my help, but if you can not figure out how to fix a problem, PM me. I also would like to inform you that this set of tutorials is older, so a few things will be different. For Instance, in the first part of the tutorial, there will not be an island demo like they show (Unless your using mac, then it might.) Like I said before, I encourage you to figure out how to do everything on your own, but please do not be afraid to PM me for help either.
------------------ ALSO: ------------------
Make a reply to this just telling me you are interested if you want to try this out. Thank you for reading through this and I wish you all a good day :D |

Lol?
I'm designing a Sci-Fi FPS similar to Mass Effect and Halo with Unity, I don't need your help. And most game devs DON'T USE UNITY! And Unity is hard to learn if you want to make a game. You need to know Javascript, C#, Boo, etc. |

You will need a license from sony to export your game in ps3 format though. Try designing some PC games first then I would try Android/iPhone apps, then try to get a license from Sony. Also, if you guys want to help me, I will be grateful for your help.
BTW, Unity may be hard to learn at first just because of the Javascript/C#/Boo programming languages, but once you learn these it is really one of the best. It's extremely flexible and powerful, and also works great with a lot of other programs. I used to use Unreal Engine, which is an extremely powerful engine, but takes a while to import objects and was less organized in my opinion. |

I was considering becoming a game developer.
But then I ditched the idea because my imagination can't pump out a proper game, I believe. |

| No thanks. I think I'll just wait until I'm in college to learn to make games instead of going to some site I don't trust and downloading a random program. |

| I agree... Unity is epic, it's also pretty easy to understand, considering there are thousands of tutorials out there...It also hasn't affected my computer. |
