Ubuntu: The best way to get a headache with a computer.
I screwed up downloading it and, um, overlapped OSes on my laptop... |

| I think using local when you're outside of any functions is bad practice, the variable is going to be in the global scope regardless. I use local when I have multiple values in separate code blocks with the same name. |

1) Do you use semicolons IN TABLES?
It depends. If it's multiline, I'll use semicolons. Otherwise, I'll use commas.
2) Do you use local? Yes.
3) Do you use Parenthesis in statements? No. It's a bad practice to put parenthesis that aren't needed, because it makes code less clear and takes up space.
4) Do you use braces with statements? No. It wouldn't respect the syntax and would error.
5) Are there more of these kind-of things?" IDK? |

"6) Split up tables: local tab = { 9; 6; 0; 8} 7) Use tabs for scope 8) Use tabs in splitten tables"
Let me resay that:
6) Do you use multiline tables? 7) Do you use indentation for scope? 8) Do you indent multiline tables?
And let me answer:
6) Do you use multiline tables? It depends.
7) Do you use indentation for scope? Of course! If anyone answers no, I think I'll lose a lot of respect for him. Indenting is really important. Pretty much every programming tutorial (not only Lua ones) teaches you to indent.
8) Do you indent multiline tables? Yes. It is a block, so I indent it.
I also indent long strings and long comments (multiline strings and comments, if you prefer). |

"I think using local when you're outside of any functions is bad practice,"
Nope, it's faster regardless.
"the variable is going to be in the global scope regardless."
Nope. I don't completely understand it, but the way Lua handles it makes it faster still. |
