I know about corel, but the trial is only 30 days and I don't have enough money to buy the full version, it's over my budget. I already have gimp and I love gimp but it's beginning to not be suited for my needs.
I'm going to order a pen tablet later today through amazon, since I haven't been able to find an artist for my game I have to create all my art assets myself. |

Okay I found one; MyPaint. It looks a f3w ye ars 0 ld (filter -.- ), but it looks mature, stable and has lots of the features I was looking for.
Thanks anyways. |

| Just finished downloading it. This is pretty awesome. Nice clean interface. The whole thing is actually blank, so you only see the tools you want to see. Nice simple, seamless performance. Already drew a really nice sketch of a person first few minutes into using it. :) |

@Slash
yeah I use that too, but really only for quick stuff. I really like this nifty feature in MyPaint: the canvas is pretty much unlimited, there is no canvas "size". That's helpful 'cuz I always felt confused when picking a canvas size, feels free. |

@King
I use blender for my 3d assets and will now use MyPaint to help create my 2d assets.
Irrlicht graphics library and bullet physics library, with OpenAL Soft also libcurl and gcc codeblocks to write my game.
I've been working on my game for a few months now, and I'm getting to the point where I can not ignore the graphics. |
