@kool
You are probably referring to Atlanta Spirit LLC, the group that doesn't care about the thrashers. |

@Red.
Red, would you like it if they moved the Cavs because they sucked?
That's why i don't like this move because, ATL has already had two teams (Flames, Thrashers) We're never getting one back. |

I'm not taking about the quality of play.
I'm talking about attendance.
The Cavs can draw a pretty decent crowd. |

| Whenever I see a game at The Phillips Arena, half the seats are always empty. Even in the playoffs or the big games. |

No... you're wrong.
Hawks games were all sold out. Thrashers games were close to being full during 3/4 of the season. |

| Hawks aren't even good at attendance. Deal with it, Atlanta only cares for Football and Baseball. |

The Thrashers weren't gaining any money by playing there since barely anybody cared for them.
In Winnipeg, they will sell out every game. Guaranteed. |

Your thinking the wrong way.
Baseball plays so many games, and the stadiums are so large, people dont like spending money for a 81 games. |

i agree with above
And i dont really think that they hate hockey its just that there is so much to do in atlanta. I mean its not that Atlanta hates hockey. I mean statistics show that more people like football and or baseball then hockey and thats the main attractions there plus other stuff. So i mean idk but in Canada thats the main sport so they'll get more people which means more money. Its all about money end of story. |

@123 they don't if the coyotes haven't associated themselves with the jets in fifteen years, they can't own the name
hopefully they won't name them "the manitoba moose" that's just a garbage name
and yeah, atlanta didn't care for hockey i remember them playing the flames, and had only 6000 people there. the franchise was only in the black when they won 40+ games a year, which they rarely did. in calgary (and in edmonton), where we both have losing teams, every game is sold out. you can only get in the nosebleed seats if you're lucky |
