There is a possibility of a ROBLOX Game Crash 2011. Due to poor games, dispute the poor reviews of games by regular users and some famous users, Most games are poor, some games are average, some are great, even some are titled "epic".
However, my opinion of the 'greatest roblox game ever I have played of ALL TIME' is crazyman32's Perilous Skies. Well scripted, great designs, great graphics, and unlike most ROBLOX users, Perilous Skies was probably spent more time on creating, other than rushing as fast as you can such as finishing a game in about 3 days. This game must've taken approximately 2-5 months probably to complete. Or probably a few weeks. And there is also a way you can dodge the incoming missiles, too, Hold SPACE to boost with your plane, and keep flying around in circles. It is very likely to dodge the missiles with that technique.
The second favorite game that I like is a type of Zombie Apocalypse game, great graphics, and it actually has levels of zombies, Level 1 through 5 zombie types. Overall, that Zombie Apocalypse game is great.
The THIRD favorite game I like is DrewsomeB's Heli-Wars (both editions) Even though it is a classic back from 2008, Still, the game is still being visited as of today, and has average graphics like the cactus and the bases. However, the Helicopters in the game still work properly, but the annoying thing about it is when after a few seconds of stuck or trying to push through a spot, the helicopter explodes and you die, But still, it's actually kind of like reality, because if you crash, it explodes or gets damaged. Overall, Heli-Wars is actually pretty attractive, and sometimes fun to play.
Now, those three games I have spoken about, are pretty fun, So, there are only 3 games in my mind that won't be affected from the possible ROBLOX Game Crash 2011. However, there is a possibility, but it is most likely there won't be a ROBLOX Game Crash of 2011. But let's just wait each years, and see which great, OK, average, or poor games come along the way. If a lot of poor games come, it is most likely to have a ROBLOX game crash. If more average come, It is 50-50 chance. If great games come, less likely for a ROBLOX Game Crash.
Now, you are probably wondering how or why I thought of this. Here's why. Okay, so most of you should've heard of the Video Game Crash of 1983. When gaming companies were almost bankrupt. The 2 games that were to blame for this video game crash of 1983 were E.T The Extra-Terrestrial for the Atari 2600, and Pac-Man for the Atari 2600. Now, those two games were titled 'Most Disappointing Games of All Time'
Now, don't get confused with the Hit game Pac-Man. The Pac-Man for the Atari 2600 was supposed to sell over millions of copies, but sold less than calculated. And as for E.T, copies, They were buried in a place in a New Mexico landfill.
Now moving on to the Atari video game burial. The Atari video game burial of 1983 was an infamous event in video gaming history, in which Atari dumped thousands of video game cartridges, allegedly including a large number of copies of its video game adaptation E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, into a New Mexico landfill. It was one of the consequences, and has become an icon, of the North American video game crash of 1983.
Now, here are events of the Atari video game burial. In September 1983, the Alamogordo Daily News of Alamogordo, New Mexico reported in a series of articles, that between 10 and 20 semi-trailer truckloads of Atari boxes, cartridges, and systems from an Atari storehouse in El Paso were crushed and buried at the landfill within the city. It was Atari's first dealings with the landfill, which was chosen because no scavenging was allowed and its garbage was crushed and buried nightly. Atari's stated reason for the burial was that it was changing from Atari 2600 to Atari 5200 games, but this was later contradicted by a worker who claimed that this was not the case. Atari official Bruce Enten stated that Atari was mostly sending broken and returned cartridges to the Alamogordo dump and that it was "by-and-large inoperable stuff."
On September 28, 1983, The New York Times reported on the story of Atari's dumping in New Mexico. An Atari representative confirmed the story for the newspaper, stating that the discarded inventory came from Atari's plant in El Paso, Texas, which was being closed and converted to a recycling facility. The Times article did not suggest any of the specific game titles being destroyed, but subsequent reports have generally linked the story of the dumping to the well-known failure of E.T. Additionally, the headline "City to Atari: 'E.T.' trash go home" in one edition of the Alamogordo News implies that the cartridges were E.T. As a result, it is widely speculated that most of Atari's millions of unsold copies of E.T. ultimately wound up in this landfill, crushed and encased in concrete.
Starting on September 29, 1983, a layer of concrete was poured on top of the crushed materials, a rare occurrence in waste disposal. An anonymous workman's stated reason for the concrete was: "There are dead animals down there. We wouldn't want any children to get hurt digging in the dump."
Eventually, the city began to protest the large amount of dumping Atari was doing, a sentiment summed up by one commissioner with, "We don't want to be an industrial waste dump for El Paso. "The local manager ordered the dumping to be ended shortly afterwards. Due to Atari's unpopular dumping, Alamogordo later passed an Emergency Management Act and created the Emergency Management Task Force to limit the future flexibility of the garbage contractor to secure outside business for the landfill for monetary purposes. Alamogordo's then mayor, Henry Pacelli, commented that, "We do not want to see something like this happen again."
The story of the buried cartridges has become a popular urban legend, which in turn has led some people to believe that the story is not true. As recently as October 2004, the E.T. game programmer Howard Scott Warshaw himself expressed doubts that the destruction of millions of copies of the game ever took place, citing his belief that Atari would have recycled the parts instead in order to save money.
Now, most of this doesn't talk about the possible ROBLOX Game Crash, but still, this is how I thought of it. |

Please read this, and please TAKE SOME TIME to think about this. Rather than just saying crap like: "You don't know what happens in the future! H4X!!!" or crap like "Fake." or the really annoying stuff like "Noob. This makes no sence." Well, actually, this DOES make sense. Think back of the times you've probably played a bad ROBLOX game. There are a lot of bad ROBLOX games, And the North American Video Game Crash of 1983 was caused due to bad games and a low payment like when you buy games. |
