"An LOL" "An"
I see something wrong there. Also, I don't get the joke... |

| Am I not correct in saying you would use an "an" for any word starting with a vowel sound? "LOL" sounds like el oh el. Same with hour. You don't say "I'll be home in a hour." |

The correct grammar SEEMS to be
I'll be home in an hour.
According to UsingEnglish.com:
You use "an" before the word with "h" when it is silent. |

| It's a floppy disk. With Windows 95 on it from 1996. Those floppies can hold a whopping 1.44 MB on them. |

| It relates to computers, and I'm pretty sure only those in Scripters would know what a floppy disk was although they were in use just 10 years ago. |

Tdog, you're an idiot.
Anyone that has ANY experience with tech would know what a floppy disk is. My old school used to use them to store word dox. Everyone in my school used one.
Not uncommon, not funny, kind of obnoxious, incredibly off-topic, moderately stereotypical |

| I specifically said that floppy disks were not old but a lot of people still don't know what they are. Calm down. |

I've NEVER used one (I came awful close to using one from 1980, but didn't), and now plan to never use one.

What is funny again? I have used Floppies in numerous occasions in the past.
They served their purpose well during the time period that they lasted.
I hate to look down on someone's sense of humor, but this wasn't funny.

| It's funny that I had a random copy of Windows 95 sitting around. I don't understand why people are shoving words into my mouth and implying I think floppies are useless? Sure they hold 1/150th of the average USB flash drives memory... |
