| It's no longer about fun or excitement. It's an endless series of console wars fought by fanboys and trolls. Games have changed. Gamertagged fanboys carry gamertagged controllers, use gamertaggged t-shirts. It's no longer about Mario and Zelda, but an infinite trail of online shooters. Noob control, pwnage control, online control, everything is controlled. The age of next-gen has become the age of control. And he who controls games... controls history. |

Gears of War and Dead Space are still my favorites.
