You know the foot you use at the back end of a skateboard?
Put on only half of it on the skateboard (like the front half of your foot is on the skateboard and the other is not) |

| Well, I skate too and one thing you really want to get down before it becomes a habit is riding mongo. Riding mongo is when your riding and you push with your front foot. If you push with your front foot it can be harder for you to get some tricks down, like grinds, flip tricks, and just being ready for to perform a trick. Good luck. |
