What does "eof" mean?
I can just take a wild guess: "eof" = "end of function"? |

I don't know what 'eof' stands for, I just know that eof means you have either too much ends, or are missing some. End of function sounds reasonable though |

EOF == End of file.
You need to add or delete an 'end' |

@objection
It's 'end of function', not 'end of file' |

| It IS end of file. Search it on the wiki. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EOF) |

| It doesn't. Why would they change the meaning? What's the point? 'Nuff said. |

| Why would I judge by your join date when you said it's end of function when you got right in front of your face a wiki page where it says it's end of file? |

| In other programming languages it means 'end of file'. In RBX.Lua, it means 'end of function'. |

Did I ever say that? It doesn't even talk about Lua! It's a general programming/scripting term. It would be stupid to change that just for your game. But if you are so sure, show me a page where it says it's end of function, the I'll shut up.
When I was a new scripter when I heard something from another scripter, I accepted it and learn, but if you want to continue in a path of ignorance, go ahead, I won't stop you. |

"In computing, end of file (commonly abbreviated EOF) is a condition in a computer operating system where no more data can be read from a data source. The data source is usually called a file or stream"
"is a condition in a computer _*OPERATING SYSTEM*_ where no more data can be read from a data" |

I'm asking about page when it says "end of file is treated as 'end of function' on ROBLOX" like that.
Look, in C#, C++, and every language I know is end of file. Why the HECK would ROBLOX bother in hcnaging that. Are you even listening to me? That's why I hate scripting helpers. If someone like Meelo, level140roblox, Samacado, mattchewy where saying this, you would beleive him. I think that you are the one juding by popularity. Now I shall wasting my time in this pointless converesating against a wall. Have a nice day. |
