Ever thought "hmm.. maybe it doesn't have to be the same method or key as the next person"
just a thought..
that's why it's an intermediate tutorial. i was going to name it advanced but I thought it would be too cocky.

If I can see exactly what is going through the remotes, or even read the memory in the client, this is completely useless. Once again, your argument is not valid.
"too cocky" come back when you're above intermediate with a couple already thought-through ideas.
Make a full description of this instead of breaking it down into parts as to further the obscurity of this broken idea.
Once again, you can read the memory, it has been done before (cough Elysian getreg cough Protosmasher), and your encryption can be intercepted easily.
*Please* understand that everyone else's claims aren't based on any sort of pseudo-science, and your idea is already in practice, and failing at that. This is neither revolutionary nor safe. Your best bet is not trusting the client, end of story, no extra random stupidity. |

alright, I see where you're at. you don't believe that I have a method to counteract your syntaxy metamethod script because you haven't seen anything new besides the stuff that you learned. there's a lot more to Lua than just the syntax and how each token behaves.
add me Mrs.ICreateScriptsForExploitsForSmallAmountsOfMoney and when my game comes out, i want you to exploit the crap out of it.. ;)
again, posting a tutorial sometime in the next couple days.

I don't make money out of what I do, and I do it to better understand what makes a good approach to this sort of issues.
Once again, nothing special, and it has nothing to do with syntax (you're not using the term right btw), as one can just as well load custom un-Lua-ble bytecode and deserialize it into a working proto which can do way more damage to any sort of control you thought you had with these practices. |

I was just saying you had nice code.
Anyways, ckillme, you're late to the conversation.
But you're basically saying that you're going to run some primitive code to destroy a ROBLOX game? With that, I'm inferring that you know how the server and the client is separated on a good level, which would make no sense in the first place.

Imagine a team of dedicated hackers hacks the ROBLOX database, gets your server, and deletes the file for filteringenabled.
Or someone uses local hacks.
FilteringEnabled can't fix that. |

For a million freaking times, I didn't say it was 100% impossible to exploit if you're talking possibilities. Read my previous posts for clarification.
The team would have little benefits for doing that, or whoever organized that scheme.

There's no such thing as a "perfect" anti exploit. I use "perfect" loosely b/c there's no real way to patch the exploit, unless you know what you're doing and know some tricks to fool the "master exploiters."
"When did I say that this was perfect?" Based upon how you criticized others, I think that, to ME, is the case from my perspective.
"Give an example of what you mean by 'tricks and fooling exploiters'". You think I would know? As I've heard multiple times before, although I'm not sure if this is the case anymore, you HAVE to have/been an exploiter to understand how it works, and b/c you know about it you'll be able to block some or most of it.
All in all, it's really arrogant to believe in a "fact" that "anti exploits" fix *all* problems, which in reality your tutorial makes no difference at all, other than giving some tips on how to prevent some exploits.
Nutshell: There's no true anti exploit. There's only ways to prevent some of them.

an exploit I developed myself renders transparent boxes over the players' characters (it's what we call an ESP: useful in first person shooters, allows you to see who's where and etc). it iterates over the player list, retrieves the characters and reads the model position, translates the position vector to 2d coordinates and renders a box at the specified coordinates
it doesn't touch lua at all and doesn't create anything (it just draws boxes using microsoft's DirectX library over the roblox client window)
tell me how you can prevent that exploit from happening from a lua script |

no no, its very relevant
your thread claims that you are making the game 100% exploit proof, but clientside exploits that doesn't even barely touch the client's memory are completely undetectable unless you have an exploit of your own |
