Getting the latest Roblox is stuck. I know it's probably because of the maintenance, but I saw no one else saying it was happening to them?

It's happening to me too. There are many other forum threads about it. Try sending an e-mail to ROBLOX or something.
I've reinstalled Studio and Roblox player, so it's a problem with their current update maybe? |

To solve this problem, please disable your antiviruses, for a limited time until ROBLOX finishes updating.
For example, if you have avast, please:
Disable shields, and let it update. After installation, get back in the action!!
Anyways, this fix helped a lot of people yesterday!

| @Chromo, and no, it's not ROBLOX's updating system. ROBLOX probably added something in the update that antiviruses firewalls are blocking it from continuing. |

If you are on PC, right click the avast button on the task bar, go to avast shields control and do what you need. |

Update btw:
Roblox when trying to play a game no longer says Getting the latest roblox, but is instead stuck on configuring. And installing roblox studio is working, all except for the fact that it's stuck at the end of the loading, 100, not finishing. |

| I'm not sure whats going on, I tried to get on a game, and it gave me the getting the latest roblox, configuring roblox, upgrading roblox and starting roblox and it all worked perfectly fine, I don't think the problem is with avast, its a problem with roblox itself since I am using Avast and it was active the whole time I did this. |

| 'I tried ending the task' of course that isn't going to work, it's an elevated process above administrator. What you need to do is right click the avast icon in the taskbar, click avast shields control, and click a disable option corresponding to your internet speed. If your internet isn't as slow as mine, disable for 10 minutes, and if it is as slow as mine click disable for 1 hour. This will enable you to get whatever is being blocked through just long enough to update. |

| Mystical knows what he is talking about and btw I just installed roblox studio with avast active and it is working as it used to be, I don't think the problem is with an antivirus but I want to know if disabling it and installing roblox has an effect. |

Deactivated it for 10 mins, downloaded roblox player and now I can join games.
Waiting for studio to install. Thank you so much, you're a lifesaver. I don't know if it'll work after avast turns back on, but I assume it will. |

Studio works! I can open my projects! Thank god!

Update update: Sorry for talking so much, I've just been annoyed by this since last night.
