But on a serious note, it's just a warning telling you that it's possible that it the child will never come into existence/into the specified hierarchy position. It's saying "Hey, uh, this may not ever exist! So be careful, because your code is yielding for possibly forever!"

It means that it may not actually exist. If you know it will exist, then it's not a problem. If you're waiting for Character to exist, use this line instead because Character isn't actually a child.
local char = player.Character or Player.CharacterAdded:Wait()
