I used the roblox sword model, and when i play in test mode it's fine. it's a gui button, you click it and it gives you a sword and removes god mode from you. for some reason, when you click with the sword in thee actual game, nothing happens. f.e. doesn't make a difference. anyone know why? |

Does the script access LocalPlayer? LocalPlayer only works for Local scripts on the Roblox Player. |

it might be the problem with the way you defined the player. the definition might make sense in studio but not for a player in the game.
player = Tool.Parent.Parent
this means the player is the parent of the tool's parent, the starterpack. this should be able to connect to the player whether you're testing or playing out of studio |
