I'm not much of a Lua Scripter, but I am interested in knowing how those who do code in Lua got into doing it or learned how to do it.

I learned from going to the wiki or youtube I went to youtube if I wanted something very pacific and didn't know how to pull it off. A good portion I learned from just practice, learning it myself.
If you learn one programming language you pretty much know the others or know how they work in that case. |

| From free model scripts, but whatever you do, don't go to youtube for that, as most of the lessons show non-FE techniques, and off youtube, you don't really learn. It's basicly "Do what the tuber does". |

| Like the guys said above, videos, free models, and just the internet in general are all great ways to learn scripting. Personally, I would just try all of them and see which you feel most comfortable with. |

Take a free model of what you want with a script in it
Read everything in that script and study what works
After you're done understanding its components, repeat the steps
Repeat until you make something yourself |
