there are many ways
one is to use hinge constraints
which will probably be the easiest and fastest
another it to use SCRIPTSSSS |

| Someone help please I tried using hinges and constraints but it didn't work as I hoped. I want a door to rotate around a point when it is clicked, like a Traditional door opening and closing. I tried looking and googling everywhere I could find but cant find what Im looking for |

roblox has an entire tutorial about their new joint system including how to make a door with the new constraints. you can view it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkRWNOvKCtY&list=PLuEQ5BB-Z1PKDygk3xYcdRelMWoNFFe3r |

| Put this in a script inside of the door part ( make sure it is ###### ## to a part with hinges ) local clickDetector = Instance.new("ClickDetector", script.Parent) local bodyThrust = Instance.new("BodyThrust", script.Parent) bodyThrust.Force = Vector3.new(0, 0, 0) local switch = true clickDetector.MouseClick:Connect(function() if switch then bodyThrust.Force = Vector3.new(0, 0, 250) switch = false else bodyThrust.Force = Vector3.new(0, 0, -250) switch = true end end) |

I hate you Roblox filtering.
Put this in a script inside of the door part ( make sure it is connected to a part with hinges )
local clickDetector = Instance.new("ClickDetector", script.Parent) local bodyThrust = Instance.new("BodyThrust", script.Parent) bodyThrust.Force = Vector3.new(0, 0, 0)
local switch = true clickDetector.MouseClick:Connect(function() if switch then bodyThrust.Force = Vector3.new(0, 0, 250) switch = false else bodyThrust.Force = Vector3.new(0, 0, -250) switch = true end end) |

Well, It mainly comes from a lot of experience and trying out random things, If there is something I do not know I usually look on the forums, and if I cannot find anything or am feeling up for it I'll go to the wiki and figure it out myself through trial and error. |

| I found a more effective way from the wiki nvm local base = game.Workspace.Base local part = game.Workspace.Part local motor = Instance.new("Motor") motor.Part0 = base motor.Part1 = part motor.C0 = ################# ######## = CFrame.new(2,0,-1) motor.Parent = game.JointsService motor.MaxVelocity = math.rad(3) motor.DesiredAngle = math.rad(360) |
