| Hi, I was developing in studio and this bad allocation error came up. I don't know what this means but it prevents me from publishes and forcefully CRASHES when you try to save. How do I prevent this Bad Allocation error from popping up because this is the second time it happens and I'm losing too much valuable time and effort (up to 2 hours and 300+ lines worth of code). |

Save the place locally to your PC then public update, if crashes then public update off the local save
attempt to index global 'soul' (a nil value) |

| Ok. Thank you for the advice, I hope they fix this though. |

| Another advantage to working from a local directory is you can save quickly with ctrl+s. As with anything else it's a good idea to save religiously - I now tend to do it automatically after any tiny change :) |

Save locally.
Two things are possibly happening here. 1). Roblox Studio is taking up too much RAM on your computer or 2). You're using bad practices in your code
Restart your system and open only Roblox studio. Go to the place file. Pull up "task manager" on windows. Try to publish the place. While doing so, check the RAM usage of the "Roblox Studio" application on "Task Manager".

Bad practices?
Like codes that are too outrageous or other things? What you mean?
Because I know I've been testing TextService (for text filtering purposes) on studio to see if it worked (took me some minutes to realize it only works on running servers while I was spamming the Fa-Bomb) and I have been getting bad allocation ever sense, but idk. |

Calling services incorrectly. Firing events without thinking about efficiency. List goes on.

| Ok, it's probably me abusing TextService then. Lol |
