Upgrade to a quad core if possible, maybe an older i5 or i7 if you can afford it
And get yourself a decent graphics card, maybe a 400 or 500 series GTX

"What graphics card are compatible with my system"
Couple of things: 1.) Check the power rating of your power supply (in watts). This will require you to open your case. Just look for the box, all of the wires should lead to it.
2.) Are you planning on playing other games?

Your processors integrated graphics should be fine but they're a bit old so more demanding games may not perform well. You don't need to upgrade your processor for roblox, I use to run a core2duo e6700 and a Gt710 and that ran roblox fine in 720p at max settings.
If you have a PCIe x16 slot (Google it) and your power supply is 250w or higher (open it up and read it) then you can comfortably install a Nvidia GT 730 or amd R7 250 in the machine no problems. Make sure you get one that's the correct height for your system, as there are full height and half height models for your machine. |

GT 620 should be fine for ROBLOX, just don't expect to be playing more demanding 3D games on that card as overall it's performance is not that great.
Hope all goes well.

620 will be fine for Roblox, but not much else. My 710 could do Minecraft and Skyrim at medium settings with that core2duo, honestly don't expect more than that. 1080p Roblox may also be a struggle in some games even with the GPU. The reason GT cards arent usually suggested is because theyre not for gaming, they're display adapters, if all you need is to power a display or watch videos, you get a GT. For actual gaming you want a card designed for it, in Nvidias case, x50 or higher. Not my first choice but it will work. |

Again, it works for you just fine, but i would never suggest a GT 620 for anything. The 30-40$ they cost used isnt worth it, when for 20 bucks more you can get a 750ti or R7 250x, webuy actually sells 250x's (and has them in stock) for 42$. Userbenchmark rates it as literally 466% better than a 620. And a 750ti is 622% better.
You can find a 750ti for 50$ used, or commonly for 60$ there are OEM cards new in box on sites like ebay.
Buying not only a GT card but one on an outdated architecture is never a good idea. Yes it will play roblox, and yes its like 30$ used, but that 30$ doesnt get you much at all compared to for example, 42$, being the R7 250x which is over 4x better in pure performance.
And thats just like, the webuy price, i see 250x's on ebay all the time for 20-30$. |
