So, basically, make a physics "engine"/system where if your character experiences too much velocity for there entire body mass they fall over depending on that velocity/momentum, into a ragdoll. Then they get up again, retaining their initial ragdoll position then interpolating into a get-up animation, depending on their rotation. Pretty much: GTA ragdoll physics (euphoria physics engine)

| You could just get the magnitude of the velocity of the torso and then cue the ragdoll sequence |

If the game has fast vehicles, you would want to make sure not to do it if they're in one.
