Basically, I've got a pet project I've been doing for a year or so.
It's a script running on a separate computer than inputs keystrokes like a "real user", allowing the script to control a player account in-game.
For the last year or so, I've just made "personality scripts", as I like to call them, that gives it simple commands on where to run and what to do. It's helped immensely with recruiting for my group.
Decided to revive the project and basically made a script that randomizes a series of actions as follows; random movement direction, random sentence to chat picked from an array of strings, randomizes animation, and uses a random gear from his backpack.
I've got a video I took today if you wanna see it running.
My dilemma is that I'm fresh out of ideas to integrate into it.
Keep in mind that it relies on not being able to read in-game values. This isn't an exploit. That's exactly why I chose this method when I started the project. |

| I mean technically you could do some crazy pixel detection stuff where you look out for text on the screen that looks like a username and moves the player towards it |

| Tbh all your thing is really doing is making it walk to a certain location, play a gear, chat the same stuff then walk back. Theres no way you've been working on this for a year.. |

I haven't tried yet but it shouldn't be /that/ difficult, just really tedious. Just scan your memory and find the position of the players, after that come up with a good algorithm to jump on players heads and done. |

No, not quite.. I worked on it for a month. Got it to walk places and do stuff.
Decided to revamp it and give it a pool of actions to randomly choose from to give it more of a "real player" feel, rather than a robot programmed to do a series of tasks.
Also, unix, let's collab and see if we can get it to do that. |

I'm sorry but I'm afraid I won't have the time to do it. I did send you a PM though with some directions on how to do it. |
